Although the grey outside looks rather severe in wet weather, we received a very warm welcome. The family room was comfortable and peaceful and the breakfast was very good indeed. THis accomodation is well located for exploring the area from the numerous delights of Durham, to the spectacular beauties of the northern Peak district.

The best guest house we have stayed in for a very long time friendly, informal , and very very clean . Then when morning comes a breakfast to die for . Local pubs with excellent food 2mins walk away . What more can i say other than we shall be back very very soon
