Our recent visit to this hotel resulted in complaints to both Reception and the Catering Manager. The weather was exceptionally hot, so the absence of air conditioning was a real problem, despite the availability of a fan. The gloomy room had only 1 window (car park facing). The basin had a huge crack in it and there was no hot... More

Reception Staff where very friendly (Chris) and offered to take our bags. Long corridor to our room which was great because I wanted a decent nights sleep. Had the best nights sleep I've had in a hotel for a while. Comfy mattress as well. (Room 355) Room was clean but very warm due to the hot weather, but a fan... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 1 night in this hotel. The hotel was lovely and clean, we did had to wait a few mins for check in. Our room was really nice, had no problems with it! We had used the pool, sauna and steam room and we loved it! The hotel was 2 miles away from the city... More

This is a large, tired hotel. The rooms and corridors could do with updating. When you park at the hotel a notice advises you to check in before unloading your luggage. This is because the rooms are not near reception. In fact most of the room are a very long walk away. The room rate is quiet high considering the... More

We booked an overnight stay as an anniversary treat through an online offer by Amazon. The deal looked like good value but you never know as they say! We were very agreeably surprised to be told we had been given a room upgrade and when got to the room there was a bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket. We... More

My partner and I enjoyed our stay here on the whole. We booked a premium room which I thought came with a mini bar but this was not the case. We stayed in a ground floor room, accessed downstairs from reception. Again, as we'd booked a premium room we were hoping for a nice view of the grounds but all... More

Lovely hotel, excellent quality rooms. Very inviting. Restaurant served an excellent breakfast. Dinner was very nice, staff were friendly but the service was incredibly slow, not that it particularly mattered to us on this occasion.

We stayed here as one of the few places that still had rooms available when we went to book the RIAT air show 2 weeks in advance. The fact that there were still rooms available probably says it all! The room itself was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. The price for the room was very reasonable. However,... More

Dear GneissGirl Thank you for your feedback. I was pleased you thought the room large, clean and was good value. We do put fans in all our bedrooms during the summer for our guests convenience as the rooms do warm up due to the lovely weather we have been having. Breakfast is great value at £8 per person when included... More

There is nothing remarkable about this hotel. The room (in the newer section) I stayed in was nicely sized and in good condition. There is no AC, but does have a portable fan. The room WiFi is steady, but slow. The location of the hotel is not within walking distance of anything of interest/need. The restaurant food is good.
