If you are looking for a quiet secluded spot, well off the beaten track, with good food and service at a good price, then The Harrow should suit you. The location is isolated but not too far from the A20. My room was clean and tidy and you needn't ask for a quiet room, as they are all quiet! There... More

We stayed for one night, breakfast was very good. Rooms clean and tidy, bathrooms could do with a refurb and showers definitely need updating, all I got was a very poor trickle of water, but as it was only for one night it didnt matter too much. Breakfast and service from all staff was very good. Good value, would stay... More

Family of 5 stayed one night. Best thing about this hotel is Colin who works there who was very helpful and friendly. We ate dinner here which was very good and the wine Colin recommended was excellent. We booked a large family room with shower. The room was dated but comfortable and wonderfully quiet. Only a couple of things let... More

Ok this is not the most luxurious hotel one can book! But I dont think that you can find a better place for a budget stay! Well centered for shopping in Maidstone, Canterbury or Ashford. Close to the Channel tunnel and last but not least: great countryside all around. We come and stay here quite regularly and we love it!... More

The Harrow and Colin has left me with very mixed emotions on writing this review. I was travelling with my dog and the most important part of my stay, anywhere, is being able to walk her in safe surroundings. From this respect The Harrow ticked all of my boxes. It is surrounded by country lanes and fields where I could... More

I stayed here as it is located near the Marley site in Lenham. I have to say that I was a bit worried as some of the reviews painted it in a poor light. I need not have worried as my stay was fine. The bedroom was large, the bed was comfortable and there was no traffic or other noise... More

We wanted to stay in a hotel in Maidstone as we was due to go out for a friends birthday, but unfortunately couldn't find anywhere to take the 11 of us. On our arrival we was a little shocked to see that it was 'in the middle of nowhere' We was told before we booked that it was about 10miles... More

On arrival you find a large car park with ample parking as I can only walk a short distance it was nice to see the disabled parking was next to the ramp making it easy if I had needed my wheelchair. We were greeted at reception by a lovely gentleman who showed us to our ground floor room with a... More

We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly and the reviews were fair. The room we had was a family room with a double bed and 2 singles and was a good comfortable size unlike many hotel chains, however the room looked as if it not been decorated since it was built, probably in the 80's. In fact the... More

Spent a comfortable night in pleasant double room. Everything working fine. Breakfast fine though as with many UK hotels they like to get you out before ten. Minor quibble:They should invest in better bread for toast. Sliced farmhouse with bits is available from Tesco for £1.20 and makes so much tastier toast.. Pretty setting and friendly staff.
