We booked accommodation based upon reviews seen here and because it was within easy reach of Dover. When we arrived it was apparent that time has stood still for this premises. I can cope with dated fittings and fixtures but is place needs a massive overhaul. It looked unkempt and in places dirty, with unnecessary clutter and redundant furniture in... More

Having seen bad reviews,we were concerned. We have had a lovely stay for 2 nights, our room was great and very spacious. Especially as we are a family of five. We had dinner and the food was lovely and generous. Breakfast was just as good as dinner, the staff were happy to help too.

When we arrived at the hotel initially it appeared no one was about, a man eventually appeared and another man came out of the back office of the reception so he had been there all along and not bothered to come out previously at the sound of our voices. He was introduced to us as the hospitality manager, he never... More

If health and safety went to pay a visit it would be closed down without a doubt. The polish manager has zero people skills and was in my opinion rude, and aggressive. The place was smelly the bar area was dirty and there is an accident waiting to happen regarding the cellar door outside, you have been warned.

Reading some of the previous reviews I was nervous. Harrow Inn is a small privately run rural establishment deep in the country up narrow lanes. Away from it all.. Arrived mid afternoon before the bar opened but were served a wine and a pint of ale on the patio ! The room was clean and very comfortable, dinner was good... More

Having stayed at the Harrow Inn Hotel on the 14th of May, I would just like to say how nice my room was, even up-graded to a four poster bed room, so much space, the room was really fantastic, I also visited the restaurant where I enjoyed local lamb, everything was freshly prepared, Tony the head barman was a real... We were looking for a short local overnight stay and found the Harrow Inn but were initially sceptical about booking due to the very mixed reviews. We decided to book as the price and location suited us and although the hotel is very tired and could do with updating our room was clean, comfortable and warm. The man serving in... More

I stayed in this guest house in July 2014 . We came about 7pm and I hardly could find somebody to check-in. Owner was busy in bar and didn't hear bell .Anyway we have got our room which I think was decorated in last century .Bathroom was same .But paper bath mat was even more funny-)) .Bed was ok. We... Stayed at this hotel on New Years eve with my partner. Welcome was average. The room was very pleasant and clean but the hotel itself has absolutely no atmosphere at all and was very dull. Breakfast was again average being offered only cereal and a full English with no other choices. The service was very abrasive and when my partner... More
