Stayed here recently for a Friday and Saturday night. Wonderful choice for breakfast, very comfortable room and most of all, very pleasant and generous owners who went out of their way to make our stay a good one. Fantastic, thank you!

We rented the cottage that is adjacent to the B&B at the same time a friend was at the B&B. He reckoned the B&B was very good whilst we were very pleased with the cottage. In fact we used it as a base to walk The Peddars Way and North Norfolk Coast Path. We had breakfast at the B&B twice... More

When we first saw our room we were a little disappointed that it appeared small and we could hear someone walking overhead but the bed was very comfy with beautiful sheets and the shower great. We had a good sleep. The breakfast was one of the best. Thoroughly recommend a stay but 'For Sale' at time of writing.

Just returned from a short break in the Church Gate Bed & Breakfast and we couldn't have enjoyed it any more than we did; from the lovely buildings and village, to the excellent food, room and service. The B&B itself is exactly the place to relax and is in a perfect location to explore the region. Would recommend 100% and... More

We have just returned from an idyllic 2 night stay at Church Gate Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we felt extremely welcome and were truly spoilt. The B&B is in a peaceful and beautiful part of the world and the owners have made sure that the rooms are decorated in a style that is in keeping with... More

We stayed in "Church Cottage" for a few days, and we had a Wonderful Time. The cottage is cosy and well equipped, and a lovely Cream Tea upon arrival. The breakfasts are excellent, would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Norfolk.

Spotlessly clean, set in a little gem of a village with plenty to offer plus wonderful breakfasts! What more could you ask for?! Good work Frank & Sheila! Would definitely recommend Church Gate B & B to others!

My friend and I stayed for just one night in the twin room and were very pleased with it, in fact could not find any fault. The owners were very welcoming and Frank took time out to suggest some places of interest and tell us a bit about the local history. The breakfast was very large and well cooked. We... More

We have just spent the weekend at this b&b and cannot fault it. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable, the breakfast fantastic and the hosts very welcoming. The village itself is lovely and there is a priory, castle ruins and a church to explore if you don't want to go far. It is also very near the... More

Thanks very much for your kind words about us at ChurchGate and our village. It's good to see our efforts are noticed. Hope to see you back again in the spring. Have you seen The Thursford Christmas Spectular Show. Look their website up I'm sure you would enjoy it. We've been several times. Worth the trip in itself. More

Hi, We recently ran a film production from our location base in Castle Acre. Many of our actors stayed with the owners of the Church Gate Tea room for the duration of the shoot - and I cannot speak highly enough of the them and the b&b. Their care was exceptional and they went above and beyond to help us... More
