We went to a wedding over the weekend and stayed the night, the hotel is lovely and the food is amazing, the reason why I rated the cleanliness lower is because we stayed in a executive room - I thought we got a spa bath but got a wet room not a issue but when we first arrived in the... More

A massive thank you to Robert, Andrew and the team at the Ashbourne for ensuring every part of Lauren & Alex's wedding day went exactly to plan. The whole day flowed perfectly from the ceremony through to the reception and evening party and on to a great night's sleep in a well equipped room and wonderful quality breakfast. The food... More

This stay gave me a positive suprise. My experience with UK hotels in small places are not so good, but this hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed on in UK. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, tasteful, elegant with a really good bed. The food in the restaurant were delicious and the had... More

You know you're in a classy hotel when the room has a sign asking you to take your makeup off with a tissue not with a towel, and threatening to charge for makeup-stain damages. Suspicions confirmed by baking hot room (no air conditioning, curtains left wide open for max solar gain), a toilet that wasn't clean, and only one bath... More

Many thanks for you recent review, obviously it is disappointing for me to read that you felt the hotel didn't deliver. I will answer your criticisms as honestly as possible, with regard to the comments of make up, unfortunately we have replaced so many items of linen due to misuse, that we have found ourselves in the position where we... I had not stayed at this hotel before, but due to the the Cleethorpes Air show, most of my usual haunts were booked up. It is about 14 miles outside of Grimsby so it was further away than i would Ideally like, However if you are working at the Immingham sites it is very close. It is very near the... More

This hotel is conveniently sited for business visitors to the Lindsay Oil and Humberside Refineries plus the Immingham Docks. Facilities have clearly been upgraded and the rooms are well equipped with flat screen TV, tea-making, easy to connect Wi-Fi, comfortable desk with reading light, plenty of power points but no a/c. Guess just unlucky to arrive on a warm and... More

Thank you very much for your honest review, we do have a variety of different types of bathrooms some with showers over baths and others with walk in showers, and some do have the handle facilities you mentioned, we would be more than happy to allocate you to a room with a bathroom that suits your needs. On the subject... More

We are proud honorary members of the wonderful 550 squadron and every year we have a weekend reunion at North Killingholme, so this year on the Saturday 5th July my wife and I decided to stay over at the Ashbourne Hotel along with all the other members. The Ashbourne management gives The 550 members discount on rooms as well as... More

I have stayed at this hotel for work for the last 2 years. Comfortable rooms, good food and helpful staff. The breakfast is really good and if you're off early they'll make you a pack up. Food - Some items are expensive but the portions are big. Very tasty! Rooms - Stayed in 3 of the 4 buildings and they... More

To be honest our expectations for this hotel were not high. We had booked as it is in the village where 550 squadron were stationed in WWII, the squadron my grandfather flew with. I can't say just how pleasantly surprised we were by this lovely hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient and so keen to help. We ate in... More
