Wanting to be near my Daughter in South Peverton for a special surprise visit to see my 16 yearold Grandaughter Skydiving to raise money for the Donkey Sanctuary. Welcoming, comfy, clean, good size room. Excellent hosts and amazing quality breakfast. We had a really relaxing stay and cannot think of anything that would have improved it. Pretty village with good pub and picturesque countryside surrounding.

If you're looking for somewhere lovely to stay in Martock then the Winslow Retreat is where you should go. The owners - Chris and Leslie certainly know how to run a B&B. They are extremely welcoming, so friendly and make sure you have everything you need. The house is beautiful, the ensuite rooms have everything you need and are spotless.... More

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here and had a wonderful time. Chris and Lesley are very welcoming hosts, who were really interested in what we wanted to do and where we wanted to visit. Apart from getting tucked up in bed and read a night time story, this place really felt like home. The rooms are comfortable and functional and finished to a good standard, sympathetically decorated to the style of the old building. It is a bit off the beaten path but the hosts make up for it all with their generous hospitality... More

Lesley and Chris where outstanding hosts. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms where comfortable and very clean. Could not recommend enough. I can also highly recommend the local pubs ask Chris i'm sure he will be able to point you to the best.

This lovely B&b tucked away in Martock makes an ideal base to explore Somerset. We recently stayed to attend a family function. Chris and Lesley made us very welcome, Rooms are very comfortable , nicely furnished with tea and coffee making facilities, added touches of carafes of fresh drinking water and fresh milk for tea and coffee were appreciated. Chris and Lesley are the perfect hosts! The breakfasts are out of this world nothing is too much trouble, from a full English to home made porridge. The rooms are excellent, warm and comfortable making sure you have a wonderful night sleep. I would recommend Winslow to anyone who is stopping in Martock or the surrounding area.

Whenever in Somerset I always stay at The Winslow Retreat in the beautiful village of Martock. I find the welcome and breakfast excellent and I always request the same room too. Chris And Lesley are very accommodating and have always made my stay comfortable.
