The Old Vicarage is a lovely little gem, charming and has a enchanting sense of calm. Lizzie and Christopher are incredibly welcoming hosts; I stayed with my girlfriend over the New Year break and we asked for later than usual breakfast and they only were happy to accommodate. Breakfast is a thing of joy! Local produce and homemade. Brimming with... More

A beautiful house, garden and setting and Lizzie and Chris were very welcoming and friendly hosts. We booked to stay two nights but liked it so much we decided to stay a third. The downstairs suite is spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Having the extra space was useful. Cowshed products in bathroom a very nice touch and luxurious.... More

Stayed here while working in the area. A wonderful building ran by a lovely couple that make you feel so welcome. Full of plenty of character in a lovely location to go explore the surrounding area. Felt more like staying in someone's house than renting a bedroom. Clean.

We had the pleasure of visiting this tranquil B&B a few weekends ago. Lizzy and Chris - and their brilliant dog Mabel - couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, from the tea and homemade cake on our arrival and the lifts to Babington House, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the red room and had the best... More

My partner and I stayed at the Old Vicarage back in August. It was the most wonderful experience and Lizzy and her Husband were a delight. As too was the room that we stayed in (the blue room). The bed was devine, the linen beautfully soft and the bath a dream. The room downstairs is equally as beautiful. Both are... More

I stayed with Lizzy on my wedding night. It was the best decision! This B&B is simply divine. The attention to detail is excellent. The breakfast possibly was the best I had ever eaten at a B&B. Everything was done to make our stay perfect, along with Lizzy kindly retrieving my diamond necklace from between the floorboards!! You must make... More

We were brought breakfast to our room in the morning, which was AMAZING.. fresh orange juice, fresh crossiants, granola, fresh strawberries home made bread & jam.. & Then... More

Great spot in Kilmersdon .. a village which has retained its old world feel. We had a spacious ground floor suite of rooms. It was nice to spread out after cramped hotel rooms. The Old Vicarage is an interesting building in nice garden setting and just a stones throw from Jack & Jill Hill. One of the doors in our... More

We loved it. Lovely people, beautiful place, happy time. There are hens in the garden fer chrissakes! Not only that, but my Lady wanted to kidnap the dog, which, as I made clear, was not cool. Go. Really is lovely. Good value, cracking breakfast, owners Lizzy and Christopher are great.

I could not possibly recommend this guest house enough! Our hosts, Lizzy & Christopher, were so welcoming & helpful & offered us a lift to Babington House where we were attending a function. Our accommodation was stunning- a large bedroom with a very comfy, large bed, a wet-room en suite with Cowshed toiletries, opening into a comfortable lounge area. There... More
