Thank you to everyone at Angmering Manor. We stayed 5 nights from 28th June until 3rd July, had a great room, great food and great weather . All the staff were brilliant. Ok maybe its not everyones ideal but some reviews I had read before going were a bit petty!! We would stay again.

It must take a lot of practice to hone the skills of indifference that this hotel has developed in its staff. The hotel building, garden and location, in an exquisite village (Angmering), are superb but do not expect to be welcomed here. Breakfast starts at 7.30. we had to leave at 7.00. Bad luck. No breakfast. When we left, we... More

We've stayed here 5 times now, and we love it, so was a bit dismayed by some of the other reviews on here, but I guess perhaps it's not going to be for everybody. Personally, I love it's quirkiness. It's a wonderful little bolt-hole, and very convenient for exploring West Sussex, or as a useful stopping-over-point for going further. The... More

We stayed here for one night following a wedding at the nearby Long Furlong Barn. We were shocked when we entered our room - it was fabulous! The extravagant decor could very easily have crossed the line into tacky but was so thoughtfully done that it felt simply luxurious! The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable and the heavy... An unusual old style place tucked away in Angmering. Slightly old fashioned but the staff were so welcoming; the room was excellent and full of all modern conveniences . The bath/shower room was enormous, so audacious and luxurious. The restaurant supplied a beautifully decorated dinner with the smallest vegetables I have ever seen; still this appears to be the "fashion"... More

I stayed 1 night and didn't enjoy anything about it. Tiny narrow dark corridors, dark carpets, it was like something out of a Dickens novel. My room was also dingy and dark with fake French furniture which had seen better days as lots of it was cracked and broken. Carpet was cream many moons ago and was filthy dirty and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Angmering Manor We welcome all feedback as this can only help us to improve where necessary to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. Was surprised to read that you felt the pool was dark and dingy as this has 8 bright wall lights, 3 lights in the pool... More

Well positioned, this older-style hotel appears to have been extended and added on over the years with the result that the rooms are located in a rabbit warren of corridors and stairs. The bedroom furniture is really heavy French style, really OTT, and more in keeping with a chateau than an English manor. Bath towels are superb, as are the... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in a double room costing £99. The hotel is situated Along a quiet lane on the outskirts of the village and is well groomed on the outside. This is a building that has clearly been extended a number of times and here lies one of the problems. The building is something... More

The hotel was set in a quiet country village.Plenty of parking, full of old charm and character. The room was unique and had plenty of space with a large bathroom and huge wardrobe (shame we were only there for one night) The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had the pool to ourselves. Breakfast was very good although a few... More

It has such a comforting ambience in everything about it,from the staff to the room. the bathroom was well kitted out with a roll top bath and a very good shower. The room was kept super lovely and warm, v unusual for an 'old' hotel. Although compact and bijou it is heavy on the facilities it has a mini pool... More
