This is a lovely inn in a small quiet village. Just perfect for visiting Brighton and Arundel. The staff were very friendly and made you feel most welcome. The food is excellent both for breakfast and restaurant meals. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Highley recommended.

We were given such a welcome we felt straight at home. The room was so clean and well decorated. We booked in for Sunday lunch and it was so tasty and the waiter and waitress were very tentative. I would advise to book in advance for Sunday lunch as they were fully booked and turning people away. Overall great atmosphere... More

We hadn't booked a room when we had rocked up at around 6.45pm. We had searched on TripAdvisor and found this place with great reviews. The staff that evening were amazing. They booked us in and had us in a room (luckily someone had cancelled that morning otherwise they would have been fully booked) within 15 minutes. The espresso machine... More

We stayed in one of the premium rooms and it was absolutely perfect. All beautifully designed with everything you needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and it's a great location for exploring the South coast. Breakfast was delicious although can we have beans on the menu please?! All in all a perfect stay and we can't wait to... More

We found all of the staff very pleasant and helpful from arrival to departure. We used the restaurant for an evening meal and breakfast and the ambience, food and staff made for a good experience. Our room was clean and spacious with a well appointed en suite bathroom with good quality toiletries supplied. Tea and coffee making facilities were generous... More

Visiting friends in Worthing for the weekend, we were initially disappointed that all the hotels we looked at in town were booked for Easter. Then we found The Lamb at Angmering - a short drive from our friends - and decided that we had been extremely lucky after all. The room was spacious, the bed enormous, everything was spotless and... The staff were fantastic and welcome was great with tea/coffee, cookies, bottled, water, local magazines ect all in the room making us feel really at home and with a choice of fine wines ales and spirits in the busy and friendly bar and the excellent choices on the menu... The Lamb is a lovely place but lacks the attention to detail that elevates a place to stay/eat to somewhere that you want to return. These are small details but make all the difference I think. The menu is very modern and the chef has some good ideas (Pulled Pork Lasagne) around giving classics a modern twist but the execution... More

We would like to thank the reviewer for his comments and we apologise we came up a little short for him on his visit. However we do hope he will visit again. My Son dealt with the reviewer when he checked in and when he left and at that time there was no criticism made. It is always helpful if... More

Stayed at the Lamb for one night on 22nd January 2015. With a warm welcome, nice comfortable room and very friendly service, we had an extremely pleasant stay. The manager was particularly helpful and very courteous. Had a meal in the restaurant (fish and chips) which was lovely (big helpings!). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room nice and...
