I reviewed the hotel on the same date last year and most of what I wrote then applies to this visit. We went for the three day Christmas break, having booked as we checked out last time (which we shall do again). This year our cat was booked with us. We have only had her a short while and she... We stayed here for the weekend in one of the cottages - such a lovely place. The cottage is spacious and clean with everything you need including a good supply of fuel for the open fire. We had a B&B with an evening meal package but it is very well equipped for self catering with a nice BBQ and picnic... More

Visited as part of a family birthday celebration, stayed in a cottage and was a little worried when I heard they were dog-friendly, expecting them to be a bit smelly stc, however they were immaculate, and fitted out with absolutely everything you could possibly need, including comfortable beds, great bathrooms with walk-in showers, open fire, fully fitted kitchen etc. The... We stayed here during a tour of Northern Ireland, and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The accommodation was fantastic, the rooms were very spacious and extremely comfortable. We also got to see the self catering cottage which would be ideal for families or a group of people as it can sleep up to 10 people... More

We last stayed here over a year ago and I gave it a well-deserved 5 stars. Just back from a weekend and we are glad to say that it is just as good, if not better than last time. Wonderful staff, without exception! You are never room number etc - you are Mr and Mrs or, in our case, Des... More

This was our second trip, this time with our three children and again it didn't disappoint. Great value for money, friendly and courteous staff, and cosy comforting peat fires. What's not to like, we all love it love it love it!!!

Went for three day package, great value with a evening meal thrown in. Great food, lovely accommodation, friendly courteous staff who are really helpful, friendly locals too. Good craic in the bar at weekends and there's plenty of places to explore during the day. The fact that we could bring the dog everywhere was a bonus. Would definatly recommend a... More

Just arrived home after a two night package deal at the Brown Trout Inn, Aghadowey. I have never stayed there before but for a change we booked two nights B&B and 1 evening meal. The accomodation is set out in a courtyard adjacent to the main building and are individual terrace bungalows. Apparantly it is in the style of an... More
