Stayed here for 2 nights. No hot water in sink or shower.Felt i was putting the manager out complaining. Booked an accessable room. All i can say is its the furthest room from reception on a cobble path with cambers that scared me to death pushing a wheelchair. The shower is also a 12 inch step up. Room incredibly warm ,... Stayed here for work Week 1 - nice room but dated. Shower OK. Went to breakfast once and felt like I was putting the lady out. Only 1 other couple having breakfast. It try to sell itself as not a chocolate box hotel (i.e. Travelodge / Premier Inn) but whoever does the decor needs to move out of the 70's... More

The pictures on Trip Advisor and Laterooms are not what you see when you arrive. You are greeted by a scruffy outside and inside at the reception, the carpets are thread bare, the furniture dated and scruffy. We asked to look at the rooms which were a good distance from the reception. The bed was rock hard. We said we... More

Set in a great country side location, 15 mins from Oxford. Stayed here for a good few weeks while working in the area. Loved the steading layout of the hotel with different blocks forming a kinda courtyard effect. Bar was comfortable and the staff nice and friendly.

We were attending a community "unconference" at The Oxford Hotel and wanted to stay overnight. The Oxford was full (if it hadn't been, rooms would have been £180) and other city hotels were up to £200. So we opted for the Oxfordshire Inn, a few miles out of town, at £80. The hotel is in quiet country surroundings with plenty... More

Stayed her tuesday night as it was close to my destination the following day. Young lady on reception was very polite and very helpful. Room was of a good size and reasonably clean. TV reception was at best very fuzzy. Shower door did not shut and shower head flopping about. Bar meal was really quite nice and very reasonably priced.... More

Entry to the hotel for a person in a wheelchair, whether assisted or not, is very difficult due to small wooden ramps that move and large lip to the main door. You then have to go back outside to get into your room, over a narrow and bumpy path, not wide enough for a wheelchair, then another large lip at... More

Went there for a couple of nights to help family move. Easy access to Oxford by car. Arrived on a sunny evening and it looked good. That was before we tried to sleep! The toilet ran all night. The room was small but comfortable but the bed was awful!! Could feel the springs through the sheets so no way was... More

I found this hotel on the internet and was not disappointed. Great grounds and good quality rooms. Main area and restaurant could do with updating but a good place to stay if visiting Oxford. Breakfast is well worth having and the lounge area is great for a quiet drink .
