Went here for lunch. Mentioned to the waiter that we didn't have much time due to having to get the ferry. Even still took ages to get our drinks and simple food order with the waiter seemingly moving as slow as possible even though there was only one other table. The food was very nice though and I have no... More

We ate at the farmhouse in the bar and to be honest the food wasn't up to 4 star standard nor was the service! The fact you had to get up and order drinks and food yourself didn't really do it for me. We had Irish coffees which tasted like a garage vending machine coffee! And coffee in a 4... More

This is an excellent hotel. It is newly built, but fits the semi-rural scene beautifully. It is low-rise, with timber construction and large windows. The staff come from all over Europe, and are both professional and welcoming. Our rooms were modern and fabulous. The WiFi works, the in-room coffee maker also has a kettle for tea, the bathroom has a... More

Very nice hotel with friendly staff who will go above and beyond for their guests. Room was brilliantly designed although if you get room No.9 the movement activated bathroom lights might get on your nerves as ours never actually went off and they were almost blinding! Staff were sometimes a bit too attentive and could be seen as somewhat bothersome... More

I chose this hotel ,after reading all the great reviews ,I must have been staying at a different Farmhouse ,The whole experience was most dissapointing and at over £220 a night ,not worth it .The service is lacking in certain departments ,and the hotel seems to be more into functions,so therefore I feel they have to much to do and... I travel to Guernsey a lot for business and came across this hotel courtesy of a booking site. Massive comfortable rooms. Huge double bed, big TV with all Sky channels, comfy sofa, air conditioning. Very well equipped shower room and roll top bath in the bedroom. The full English breakfast is enormous and very tasty but buffet selection somewhat limited.... More

We have just returned from a 5 day break staying at the Farmhouse. Our first impression when we arrived was how efficient and friendly the young lady was who checked us in. She arranged to have our luggage taken to the room and also escorted us herself to the room to explain the facilities. Which where all in good order,... More

Had an excellent 3 night stay here over the bank holiday. Despite a few of the reviews on here we found the staff to be absolutely outstanding, especially the receptionist when we arrived (who was new too) she had a fantastic friendly & helpful attitude & did everything she could to make life easy for us. The waiting staff in... More

Our bedroom was well appointed if a little dark. The bathroom was quite large but didn't make the best use of space. The shower was in a corner with a fairly high step up to it - not the best if you aren't mobile. But worst of all was that the heated towel rail was placed by the door of... More

Charming property fronted by a slightly less than charming receptionist who was rather devoid of any cheer or warmth. Quite difficult to find but that is not unusual in Guernsey and it does lend to the place a sense of isolation which might be welcomed during a break - there is no doubt you need your own car to stay...
