A bizarre experience. We booked through BA, using Avios. Booking accepted. BA then call in a panic saying The Farmhouse, although they had accepted the booking, had now said it wouldn't stand. That's never happened to me before! I never heard from The Farmhouse themselves about this at the time - no apology, nothing. This was to have been our... More

A very enjoyable lunch on the patio overlooking the gardens, with attentive service and delicious food. Portions are large - a small diet coke is a 1/2 pint, and the club sandwich was big enough to club a mammoth - but the food is lovely. Recommended for lunch.

A great location on Guernsey with super bus links to town, a good beach and lovely views seaward especially of the sunset. Rooms comfortable with the added benefit of fresh fruit and bottled still and sparkling water. Towels available to use on beach for a deposit. Restaurant food of excellent quality.

Having spent a week camping on Guernsey our ferry home was cancelled. We had to find a hotel for 2 nights at very short notice but we could not have picked a better hotel than this. The room was spectacular with very good attention to detail-fresh coffee, homemade (and very delicious) biscuits and a massive, comfy bed. Our room had... More

We stayed there two nights when our Condor Ferry was cancelled. It provided a surprise treat for us with wonderfully comfortable beds, very clean, well maintained facilities and genuinely friendly staff. They provided a peaceful haven for us in what could have been a very stressful situation.

Went here for lunch. Mentioned to the waiter that we didn't have much time due to having to get the ferry. Even still took ages to get our drinks and simple food order with the waiter seemingly moving as slow as possible even though there was only one other table. The food was very nice though and I have no... More

We ate at the farmhouse in the bar and to be honest the food wasn't up to 4 star standard nor was the service! The fact you had to get up and order drinks and food yourself didn't really do it for me. We had Irish coffees which tasted like a garage vending machine coffee! And coffee in a 4... More

This is an excellent hotel. It is newly built, but fits the semi-rural scene beautifully. It is low-rise, with timber construction and large windows. The staff come from all over Europe, and are both professional and welcoming. Our rooms were modern and fabulous. The WiFi works, the in-room coffee maker also has a kettle for tea, the bathroom has a... More

Very nice hotel with friendly staff who will go above and beyond for their guests. Room was brilliantly designed although if you get room No.9 the movement activated bathroom lights might get on your nerves as ours never actually went off and they were almost blinding! Staff were sometimes a bit too attentive and could be seen as somewhat bothersome... More

I chose this hotel ,after reading all the great reviews ,I must have been staying at a different Farmhouse ,The whole experience was most dissapointing and at over £220 a night ,not worth it .The service is lacking in certain departments ,and the hotel seems to be more into functions,so therefore I feel they have to much to do and...
