We stayed here on Valentines night. We checked in around 4.30pm into the Nursery Room which was a lovely modern room, however when we turned on the lights we noticed a huge stain on the duvet cover. I mentioned this to the Receptionist who promptly apologised and moved us into another room, the Tudor Room which was equally, if not... More

Excellent experience is the best way to explain my short stay at this location. The quality of the evening meal and the breakfast was superb. The location, set in beautiful gardens and surroundings, friendly and helpful staff; however there was something totally different about this accommodation and Stables restaurant, it is unique.

After arriving to the most wonderful venue, with snow falling, we were wowed by the welcome, very nice comfortable room, a little more attention to detail wouldn't go amiss from the housekeeping staff, with everything you could want for. We had a couple of drinks in one of the lounges and then retired to a very comfortable bed and had... More

We visited The Stables restaurant today for Sunday lunch with four adults and two children. The restaurant was warm and inviting with lovely open fire in the bar area. Menu options were great and included 4xstarters, 4xmain courses and 4xpuds. Three of our party chose the carvery and it did not disappoint! Choice of meats, Yorkshire puds and lovely fresh... More

We attended this hotel as a largish party, having originally booked into the Stables for our Christmas get together. We were then "upgraded" by the hotel, which meant we had the same menu that we had reordered, but we were now in the marquee and had entertainment and disco provided for no extra charge. It sounded like a good deal,... More

Myself my wife and two friends booked a table at the Stables as we entered the ground floor bar the immediate warmth of a large open wood fire was so welcoming, as was the staff as we enjoyed the drinks prior to the dinning in this wonderful bar atmosphere with its high class Christmas decorations and music was a delight.... Would like to say a big thank you to all the amazing staff at Soughton Hall where my daughter Helena and new husband Richard recently married. Amazing venue as anyone who has ever been will know and we would recommend whole heartedly to anyone who is considering as a wedding venue. The wedding breakfast was really really wonderful. We all... More
