We stayed for four nights in the hotel. Attentive and friendly staff made our visit a pleasure and with greater attention to the small details that matter this would be an exceptional venue The food was of a high quality, locally sourced and generous. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in the hotel for a 2 night break. To find any any serious faults would be harsh and picky. The staff were pleasant, polite & friendly and made us feel welcome from booking to leaving. The location is in the middle of the countryside making it perfect for those who want a relaxing break with peace and quiet... More

Last minute booking in a three bedroom cottage over the bank holiday weekend. Beautiful scenery with red kites, ravens and buzzards soaring over the wonderful Gwaun valley. Peaceful and relaxing and a great welcome from the staff. We self catered but made use of the bar which was comfortable and reasonably priced. Would go again.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a late birthday trip for my boyfriend and had one of the one bedroomed cottages. The cottage was very well equipped and extremely cosy yet spacious with everything needed to cook a 3 course meal on the first night. The only downside was next door who had children (very loud and not well... More

Stayed with DH at the hotel, for 3 nights over a bank holiday week. We add to postpone our initial booking due to a health problem, and the staff and management couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. The hotel is gorgeous and so are the cottages. Everything is tastefully decorated, traditional but still with all the modern conveniences you... More

We were a large party for lunch but the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. We had an excellent lunch which all seemed to have been prepared and cooked on the premises. Apart from the wasps, which the hotel could not be blamed for, we all enjoyed our meal and left replete and happy. Will return!

Stayed for two nights in the main hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel and surroundings were stunning. We had two amazing meals in the restaurant and can highly recommend it. We were very tempted to have the same meal two nights in a row but thought we better try something different and it was as good... More

We are currently staying at Gellifawr hotel and cottages in the lovely "Coach House" as a weekend getaway for my birthday. Many thanks for taking the time to review Gellifawr Hotel and Cottages. We are terribly sorry you did not enjoy your stay at the hotel. Firstly, to answer your points, room 5 is not in the attic, is on the second floor of the 17th century farm house. The kettle has now been replaced. As we have our own spring... More
