Our three day stay was a great success.The food was tasty, locally-sourced and good value.Some excellent real ale was sampled .All the staff were friendly and a most useful local guide was provided in our room as well as O.S.maps.Montgomery and the surrounding area are well worth visiting.We will certainly be returning. more

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Dragon. Our room was not befitting the price we paid, nor the AA 2 stars. The bedclothes were shabby, with old yellow blankets, and bedside lamps fitted too high to reach the cord, so you hadto get out of bed to switch them off. Cold Comfort here. Drab entrance hall which was freezing and although there were seats it was too cold to sit. The lounge is a joke - we thought it was the office store room!
