My wife and I have visited Fairyhill before so we were aware of the excellent service, food and surroundings that you experience when you visit. On this occasion however we were 7 adults and 4 young children. I was somewhat concerned as to how the children would fit in/ behave? Well I need not have worried as the way that they... More

Tricky to find in the dark so take a detailed map. What a delight on arrival greeted by Martin. Fabulous large bedroom and bathroom. The ambience is so relaxing with a fine bar and the food!! Not to be forgotten as it is imaginative and delicious. The customer service is brilliant - not intrusive and yet they seem to know... More

We recently spent a couple of days at Fairyhill as a celebration for our Golden Wedding anniversary. The room we had was good with a well stocked bathroom. The food was delicious and the service in the hotel and restaurant was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. We enjoyed walking in the grounds and visiting local beaches which were beautiful. A wonderful... More

My wife and I booked a meal (combined wedding anniversary/birthday celebration) but then extended this to an overnight stay, and this proved wise. A beautiful country Gower peninsula location with lake, stream, acres of land with mature deciduous trees, croquet lawn, all meticulously maintained. After an arduous week I felt instantly relaxed as I entered into the hall with its'... More

Visited for a short weekend in October in need of some relaxation and pampering. It was our first visit to Fairyhill for about five years and worried we might be looking back over time with rose-tinted retrospection. No worries - service and product were excellent. It's the sort of place where you feel instantly calm, even after a 4-hour drive... More

We visited Fairyhill as we were staying locally and I found the restaurant on trip advisor. The hotel and gardens are beautiful. The service was impeccable. The food was good but very small portions. I have no problem eating in expensive restaurants, however when you pay £170 for 2, I am afraid I would have wanted more for my money,... More

I went with a party of 5 to Fairyhill for cream teas recently. One member of the party has a gluten allergy, and whilst they were very accommodating of her I did find that when I rang a few days before to book, the lady that spoke to me on the phone emphasised the difficulty for them in providing gluten-free... Great welcome, fab lounges, very relaxed and brilliant food. Not cheap, but then the whole package is value for money. Portions on the small side. The owners might want to consider adding a restaurant section to TripAdvisor

We have dined here far too many times over the years, as we know we are guaranteed excellent food, service and ambience. It is a little bit of luxury, but with a relaxed, welcoming feel. The house and grounds are lovely, and having finally stayed overnight rather than just dining, we can say that the rooms measure up to the... More
