Stayed here recently with my parents and in-laws. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is in a lovely country village setting with beautiful gardens. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Oscars provided a great setting with lovely food and a wide choice of menu. Would definitely recommend this as a venue to visit.

i stayed at Rossett hall hotel for one night, in truth 4 stars is too much but 3 stars is too little. the room (3) was okay but could do with updating, it was acceptably clean but a bit dirty in the lesser used areas. The bed was the biggest let down and new a mattress wouldn't go amiss. A... More

We had a terrible experience at Rossett Hall. Stayed there for 3 nights from the 18th July to 21st July 2014. Staff were unhelpful and unwelcoming. The rooms are in great need of decoration; our toilet seat was broken and when told they did not fix it. The rooms were hot and if you're on the ground floor its tricky... More

Have been to oscars restaurant for past 16 yrs off and on. Believe it's just had a change of chef- menu overpriced and portions extremely small and not great choice on offer. 'Sharing ' platter was ridiculously sparse , as was cheese board. Would not recommend.

We stayed here in 1989 when relocating with work. This time we stayed to attend a wedding. Lovely to return. Was really pleased with the price, lovely clean comfy room with attentive staff. The staff did the utmost to sort out TV troubles. Knowing the area well this is a good base for exploring the beautiful countryside or the historic... More

We were pleasantly surprised at the good quality we found, for the very reasonable price we paid. Room was well appointed, with fridge, safe, hairdrier and iron. Plus flat screen tv. Clean and welcoming......the staff were pleasant and it felt a home from home. So nice to find room service for meals, which isn't that easy to come by these... More

Good location just about 15 minutes by car from Chester. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotless spacious room was rationally equipped and stylish decorated. All techniques look brand new and work pretty good. Free Wi-Fi. Very good restaurant. Relaxing area around hotel. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Reasonable price. Only one minus – there is no airconditioner.

This place had the charm and elegance of an English country estate. The charm was apparent when we passed the entrance to a Duke's estate in order to get here. My brother and I were entralled by the green grass, flowers, and trees surrounding the property as the sun sank low in the sky. Coming into the hotel, the lobby... More

I have never given a review on any website before as I believe opinions of hotels and restaurants differ with individual preferences but I cannot resist commenting on this hotel and the staff that work here... We had our wedding at Rossett Hall on the 25th July and from day one the level of service that we received from the... More
