The Inveroran Hotel is located in a relatively remote spot along the West Highland Way, roughly midway between Tyndrum and King's House. (The nearest alternative spot to stay is the Bridge of Orchy Hotel, two miles or so closer to Tyndrum and a great place to have lunch.) Travelers can enjoy the Inveroran's full-service operation - including the pub, the... More

A welcome sight after our days walking on the WHW. Room ok and dinner was fine. Staff not overly friendly to myself and 8 year old son. Breakfast was disappointing with orange juice that was starting to ferment and melon that was overripe and turning acidic. Also, they were going to overcharge me by £20 with no apology.

This was a welcome stop along the West Highland Way. The location is awesome and the staff is very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. My husband had a sore ankle and the young woman that greeted us got him a bag of ice right away. The room was very large with a... More

What a fantastic location! Arrived here quite early, but our room was ready so we were able to chill out after our walk. Good sized room, twin beds but very comfortable. We had a bath which was very welcome. Staff all helpful and friendly, the food was excellent. We had dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch all really good. Lovely... More

We have only good things to stay about this hotel and the welcome and support they gave to a group of five teenagers doing a charity walk on the West Highland Way. I had stayed with my son last year and we had really enjoyed our stay so I booked rooms for the five teenagers this year. The hotel staff,... More

A well run hotel which now caters mainly for walkers on the West Highland Way. A rather small room - but this is due to the old hotel. They had managed to fit in an en suite to our room. We were welcomed by several deer - who were quite inquisitive. No midge screens so not able to open our... More

We found ourselves resting an extra day at the campsite by this hotel and spending a lot of it in their cafe and pub. The staff here was extremely friendly, very helpful, and welcoming. Prices were very fair, food was great, and the pub was perfect for friendly conversations with other travellers. The valley it's situated in is beautiful and... More

Stayed here for 1 night while walking the West Highland Way, a great location. The room was on the small size but fine for the one night, views were great from the chair in the window. The room and ensuite was very clean, tidy and well equipped. The whole hotel was very nice and had been on this site for... More

4 of stayed in this wonderful spot for 1 night during our WHW walk. The approach over and down the hill to the hotel is stunning as here are views all rouund including along Loch Tulla. The welcome was warm, though 2 of us who'd arrived later than our friends felt a bit hassled having to make decisions about dinner... More
