After a long hard day of walking in the rain we set up camp nearby and headed into the bar to warm up and have a few drinks. Just as we were about to leave, the manager was extremely accommodating toward us and even offered us some delicious vegetable soup to warm us up before bracing the driving rain outside.

We recently returned from the WHW. We planned our night in inveroran camping in the nearby field...unfortunately despite it being almost may it was blizzard conditions with Arctic winds outside! As my husband and his friend pitched our tent, I went inside to see if they had a room for me, which unfortunalty they were fully booked. We had dinner... More

From the moment we arrived until we left, our stay here was friendly, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast set us up nicely for our next day of walking the WHW. I would recommend.

Having walked up through noisy Tyndrum and passed by Bridge of Orchy, over the hill and down to the Inveroran Hotel was a delight. It is what it is, slightly out of date but the welcome was good. I arrived at a busy moment for the receptionist but the manager came out of the kitchen and cheerily sped my registration.... More

I have to start by making it clear, Inveroran Hotel is in a very remote place. Very remote. Virtually all the visitors here are long distance walkers. And this watering hole has been here for centuries - Wordsworth stayed here a long time ago. There is no cell reception - call your loved ones before you arrive ! There is... More

Myself and a group of friends stayed in the hotel while cycling the WHW. we stayed here on the second night and the hotel has a great location, with wild life around about. But most importantly the staff and owners make you feel like you are at home, the food and choice is great and after a hard day on... More

We were completely taken aback by the friendly & helpful staff who were ever so kind from the moment we arrived at the hotel. It is a unique, quaint, delightful hotel with everything you need after a long, tiresome walk. A lovely size room with a large comfortable bed, a shower with hot water, a TV, a bar and delicious...
