This hotel was in a great spot, nothing around for miles. It wasn't that clean or up to date, nothing awful but just little stale. The people were friendly and the food was pretty good. We also enjoyed the small hotel bar here we met some lovely people, locals and other walkers alike.

Comfortable, friendly spot to spend a weekend away from it all or to stop off while walking the West Highland Way. The room was en-suite with a comfortable double bed. Great food and the bar is small and comfortable with some good, bottled, Scottish ales. Red deer came into the hotel grounds both evenings allowing us to get some great... More

The Inveroran website says it wants a stay at the hotel to be a special experience and welcoming. I have to disagree although it was an experience I won't forget in a while. Four of us - 2 couples, 2 of whom were walking the West Highland Way and the other 2 in a car walking some of it and... More

On our way along the West Highland Way we stayed at this amazing place. The staff were very friendly and rooms clean and comfortable. They have a small bar which is open to all and we spent the evening in the company of local estate workers chatting about local issues. This Hotel does close for the winter period but am... More

If you are looking for a good old fashioned grudged Romanian welcome this is the place to come to. This really is a large property in a beautiful location with very little to recommend it or within its walls. Arrived with 2 pre-booked friends who at 2:20 pm were immediately asked to select their evening meal should they want one.... More

We stayed at the Inveroran Hotel whilst walking the West Highland Way. It stands by itself in the middle of nowhere but had everything we needed for a good night's rest. Warm and informative welcome, nice clean and comfortable room and bathroom, cosy bar and sitting room, and delicious evening meal and breakfast. We'd love to go back for a... More

Checked in about 4.30 (after being looked up and down and being told "the bar's through there") and were immediately asked what we wanted for dinner. We chose (from the list of 3 or 4 things) and chose 6.30pm from a choice of that, 7pm or 7.30pm. The meal was poor quality. I had chicken wrapped in bacon (that had... More

Large bedrooms. Good breakfast. Very good tasty dinner. Nice small pub inside. Nice whiskies. Clean rooms and bath. Friendly staff. Far from the village but directly on the WHW. Stunning locationsssss
