After staying in the the bunkhouse at the rear of the hotel 3 years ago, my wife and I decided this year to stay in the hotel for 2 nights, we very rarely complain but on this occasion we thought we should, our first encounter was with the toilet cistern lever which was loose to the extent that the screw... Used this hotel as a halfway stopover on a trip up to Skye and we were impressed firstly by the friendly welcome at reception and this was repeated throughout the hotel. The rooms are chalet style with panorama windows framing the river, bridge, forest and mountains in perfect symmetry. The decor is clean cut Scandinavian style and the room was... More

We stayed for 1 night while walking the WHW & it was such a treat! This hotel is lovely. The receptionist was the nicest receptionist I have ever come across in a hotel, so friendly & accommodating - great front of house service. We had a very large double room with an extra sofa bed as there were three of... More

Booked into the hotel as the halfway point of our walk along the West Highland Way and what a bonus this was! The room was clean and comfortable with fabulous views over the river and hills beyond and with the best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel room :) We booked in for dinner in the bar restaurant -... My nephew Adam recently wed his sweetheart Sarah at this idyllic spot in the Scottish highlands. My wife and I stayed in one of the main building's rooms, which we found small, and a little tired from the point of view of decor, also there was no aircon, which isn't always a problem in Scotland, but was badly missed during... My brother Adam recently got married at this hotel after falling in love with the place on a previous trip along the West Highland Way. We stayed two nights in July and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves bar a few punters at the bar. From the road it just looks like a big cottage with a car... More

We stayed one night on our West Highland Way hiking trip and were impressed. We stayed in the newer section and the room was light and airy with a modern decor and spotless ensuite. The room was well suited for hikers as it had a drying area at the entrance. We enjoyed the view and small deck off the sliding... More

We stayed in one of the new river view rooms, which was absolutely beautifully appointed and the location was stunning. Excellent food in the restaurant for dinner, a good breakfast, and Nadia at the front desk was friendly and helpful. At £160 per night though, the river view rooms are pricey, and for me an expensive price tag brings heightened... More

We stayed here in June 2014 whilst running the West Highland Way. The room we had booked was lovely. We had some issues, but the highly professional manageress took our feedback on board, making the overall experience positive. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel.
