We arrived on the 28th June after walking 19 miles from Inverarnan to be told that our booking had been for the previous evening. I asked them to check, but he insisted he was correct. I asked if they had Wifi and went into the bar to download the reservation from my phone. After I showed them that my reservation... More

I completed my final Munro with a large group of friends. Nadia and her staff at the Bridge of Orchy made sure the day ended on high note. I had organised with Nadia to celebrate the occasion at the Bridge of Orchy. We had a lovely furnished room for the 40 of us and were well catered for. The staff... More

My wife and I recently stayed in the Bridge of Orchy Hotel as a stop off during the West Highland Way. The rooms were decent and the food adequate. The staff were friendly and, for the most part, accommodating. At over £110 for the night it was overpriced compared to other accommodation of similar standard we stayed in along the... More

This is a place that has to cater for many different types of customer- and it does it very well. There is a choice of hotel, 'chalet' and cottage- great location. Perfect for hiking, camping, rambling and touring. We have stayed twice- once whilst marshalling for Cale Challenge (in the self contained cottage) and a weekend or so later (Chalet... More

After a long day in the mountains I fancied a bite to eat before retiring to my tent. I didn't want a full meal but noticed that Cullen Skink was on the menu. At £6.95 it wasn't cheap but my experiences of this dish in the past is that it's almost a meal in itself. I expected a decent sized... More

Dear Sir Thank you for your recent review on Trip Advisor. I would like to apologise that the Cullen skink you felt was not worth the money. Our new Head Chef started today and without a doubt has he's work cut out for him. I have passed on the comments to him. Please give me a shout if you ever... More

So often I've driven past this hotel and wanted to stay. Now I have and it didn't disappoint. We were given a new Scandanavian-feel room in the new extension alongside the original hotel - beautifully decorated & furnished with patio doors out onto a wooden decking overlooking the river & mountains. Lovely evening meal in the bar and enjoyable banter... More

First of all the room we had was perfect and fulfilled our requirements however I only scored 3 out of 5 due to the fact that I stayed here twice last year and there's disappointing substandard changes it seems in the restaurant/bar area, changes are.... changing of lounge room to restaurant overflow, it used to be a nice place to... What a fantastic welcome after my longest day on the WHW. The lady who assisted me at reception was lovely.: friendly, professional and interested. I was in one of the new rooms next to the hotel and it couldn't have been better. It was clean and comfortable with lovely light. Just right for relaxing and tending my blisters. I had... More

We stayed here to break up our journey to Skye. The room was adequate, clean but noisy as we were over the bar and also at the front of the hotel next to the road. We asked to be moved but assured that the bar emptied around nine thirty as most people were tired after walking. Not the case, the... More
