Nice welcome on arrival. Even told we could park the bike next to our room which helped from a security aspect. Evening meal and breakfast was superb with a good choice on the menu. Room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Would highly recommend. The pub is tired on decor but that adds to the relaxing atmosphere so should not be... More

The room was vey basic b- ut the price not so and did not include breakfast. The staff gathered outside our room in the courtyard for their smoke breaks, noises from the kitchen kept us awake and the room was closed in and had a smell of stale smoke - would not use again and sadly would not recommend.

we stayed for 2 nights after a previous visit in october. on arrival we were asked to order food promptly as the kitchen closed early on a sunday, so we hastily ordered, sadly the food was disgusting, i had lasagne that had virtually no meat sauce, my partners food was cold and salty and the room was filthy. there was... Spent one night at the Inn en route to a dog show at Forfar. As such had 3 dogs with me. On arrival, despite having just dealt with 2 coachloads of football supporters en route to Hampden, the staff were just so welcoming & even showed my Father & I to our rooms. Room basic but clean & wanted for... More

We needed a hotel that accepted dogs for our two night stay in Dundee so booked into the Longforgan. Absolutely loved this place, full of history I could just imagine the horse drawn carriages rolling into the yard. Aside from that the staff were all very welcoming and the chef stopped late for us on both nights and cooked us... More

We chose this place as they accepted dogs. We arrived earlier then check in but they were really friendly and showed us to our room straight away. The room was fine, could do with a little updating but the bed was comfy and the room was clean so no complaints there! We didn't eat at the inn as we were... More

I booked through Late Rooms.com and gave credit card details to confirm stay for 5nights. I arrived at 9pm and was give my key with very little warmth of welcome. On Tuesday I asked for the Wifi detail and was handed a slip of paper with no explanation. On Wednesday I took in cash to pay my bill and asked... More

Had an overnight stay here at the weekend. Rooms look tired and dreary. Reception and lounge was not very welcoming. Was hoping to see bits of history around the place but there was none. Not a single picture of the coaches of the early times which could have been a nice touch. The whole place could probably do better with... More

I had no choice but to book this hotel as i was visiting Dundee when the annual oil conference was on in Aberdeen and this was the last hotel available. Well i would have preferred to sleep in my car! The reception i recieved was poor, they took payment from my card without me being present. I wasnt given any... More

Had a great break at longforgan inn last weekend with our newly acquired doggie Jack. Staff great, meals too and company, especially the impromptu entertainment in the bar every night. Thanks to Alistair in particular who made it especially enjoyable. Six miles from where we live - would go back in a minute! Nothing any bother for the staff. Can't... More
