I'm very late in making this review - we were there in June. We drove through some of the most beautiful countryside we've ever seen to get there, and went to the WRONG DOOR - we went to the place next-door, which had a "Camus Lodge" sign, or something like that. This was, most definitely NOT, a B&B - I... More

Too bad this beautiful Victorian house is stuck to the road; the road that connects Glasgow to the north. The rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is good. Wi-fi was hard to catch in the room, we had to go out to be able to connect. You hear lorries until midnight and very early in the morning. The owners... More

Our only regret was that we could only stay one night as we were on our way to Skye from Edinburgh. The location was iconically Scottish with a beautiful view of the Loch from our bedroom. Everything was clean and welcoming. Alastair and Louise were charming hosts and even insisted that we take their road atlas with us as we... More

It was an absolute delight to stay at Camus House recently for three nights. From the moment we arrived Alastair and Louise made us feel so welcome, but even before that the communication from these ideal hosts was exceptional, with driving directions, recommendations of places to eat dinner and sightseeing possibilities all explained with great thoughtfulness. Our room was spotlessly... More

Alastair and Louise were perfect hosts for our young family and helped in so many extra ways. The room was terrific and the views were spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

A lovely warm welcome awaits you at Camus House. Alastair and Louise are such lovely hosts, genuinely friendly without being in any way imposing. The house is in a wonderful location with splendid views over the Loch and to the mountains beyond. Our room was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed and fabulous views. If you are looking for... More

If you ever have the pleasure of driving through the northwest highlands and want the perfect bed and breakfast experience, do not pass the Camus House in Onich, Scotland. Perfectly located for day trips to Fort William and Inverness, but so friendly and charming you may not want to leave. Ask for a room facing the lochs and you will... More

So pleased we chose to stay at Camus House whilst touring Scotland. Alastair and Louise were very attentive and welcoming - Alastair even carried our cases up to our room for us. The house is beautiful and our bay fronted room was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean - it overlooked the Loch and the views were stunning. The breakfasts were... More

We stayed 3 nights with Alastair & Louise and wished it was for a lot longer. Location was perfect being central to great day trips in different directions. Our room was lovely with a fantastic view over the loch and snow topped mountains in the distance. Alastair and Louise were wonderful hosts with lots of good travel information, restaurant recommendations... More

We stayed seven nights with Alastair and Louise and it was just wonderful! The are very friendly and attentive and made our stay there a real pleasure. The breakfast is awesome — if you are there: try the poached eggs with bacon! The also serve baked beans, Haggis and Black Pudding in small portions for breakfast so you can try... More
