Back again to this excellent accommodation. We had beautiful bedroom overlooking the loch which was clean, comfortable with good en-suite. As usual the breakfast was very tasty and had plenty of choices. Alastair & Louise are excellenet hosts and we look forward to staying there again on our future travels.

I will admit that I had my hopes up based on these reviews. It was even better. My son and I had traveled all over Scotland, and we saved the best for last. As others have noted, the hospitality is excellent. We received a welcome as though we were family. The inn is in a great location. There are so... More

Alastair and Louise are such charming hosts. They go out of their way to welcome to their home Camus House. We were lucky to get the last room at short notice. A nice twin room with a side view of the garden and the loch. It had everything one could need for an overnight and the room was quiet and... More

Situated in beautiful and dramatic countryside, Camus Lodge looks out over Loch Linnhe towards the Isle of Mull - so close to being an idyllic location. Our room was spotlessly clean and pleasant, made the more so by an attractive large bay window providing awesome views across the Loch . In amongst these initial impressions we were aware of our... Alastair and Louise welcomed us into their home and could not have been more friendly or helpful. The house is beautiful and our room overlooked the loch. Everything was clean and our freshly cooked breakfasts were excellent. The traffic on the main road did not disturb us at all. We enjoyed meals in the locality as recommended by our hosts.... More

I'm very late in making this review - we were there in June. We drove through some of the most beautiful countryside we've ever seen to get there, and went to the WRONG DOOR - we went to the place next-door, which had a "Camus Lodge" sign, or something like that. This was, most definitely NOT, a B&B - I... More

Too bad this beautiful Victorian house is stuck to the road; the road that connects Glasgow to the north. The rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is good. Wi-fi was hard to catch in the room, we had to go out to be able to connect. You hear lorries until midnight and very early in the morning. The owners... More

Our only regret was that we could only stay one night as we were on our way to Skye from Edinburgh. The location was iconically Scottish with a beautiful view of the Loch from our bedroom. Everything was clean and welcoming. Alastair and Louise were charming hosts and even insisted that we take their road atlas with us as we... More

It was an absolute delight to stay at Camus House recently for three nights. From the moment we arrived Alastair and Louise made us feel so welcome, but even before that the communication from these ideal hosts was exceptional, with driving directions, recommendations of places to eat dinner and sightseeing possibilities all explained with great thoughtfulness. Our room was spotlessly... More

Alastair and Louise were perfect hosts for our young family and helped in so many extra ways. The room was terrific and the views were spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.
