Alistair and Louise offer excellent hospitality at their splendid Victorian house set across the panoramic Loch Linnhe, and a charming country garden. Camus House displays a lot the original features of a grand Victorian house including its grand wooden staircase and downstairs fireplace in the large but cosy reception hall. You cannot beat the wonderful breakfast, cooked to order, in... More

Stayed at Camus House at beginning of September for seven nights after reading reviews and have to say that its all been said before. Louise and Alistair are very special people who made our Ruby Anniversary celebration very special also, can't say enough about them and the warm and inviting, but not intrusive welcome we received on arrival. Ecceptionaly clean,... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Camus House, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! It was the perfect base from which to explore the Highlands, and every day we devoured a delicious breakfast before heading out to explore the backroads of the area. The house and our room were beautiful, and the location and view were perfect.... More

Our group of 6 spent only one night at Camus House but all agreed it was tops. Alistair & louise are excellent hosts and the house and rooms are clean and comfortable with superb views. Breakfast was more than enough with plenty of choice. For our gang of six, 11 out of ten. More

A shame we could only stay one night. Everything about Camus House is lovely. Alistair and Louise are excellent hosts and the view from the house over the loch is second to none. Haggis and black pudding enhanced a superb breakfast! More

We spent two nights at Camus House and felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with beautiful views. The breakfasts are abundant and Louise is an attentive hostess. Louise and Alastair can provide good advice about the area. We highly recommend this B&B. More

From the time we arrived, with getting help with our bags, to the time we left, help with our bags again, we knew we had choosen the right place to stay. We had a super breakfast and took full advantage of the knowledge of Alistar and Louise regarding the surrounding area, shops and golfing. My boys appreciated the free wifi... More

My partner and I first stayed at Camus house last year, for just one night, while touring the Highlands. We were so impressed and enjoyed our stay so much that this year we decided to stay there for our Honeymoon. And once again, we came away having enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We cannot recommend it enough. Ideally situated... More

The location and house are stunning; it is easy to find. The owners, Alastair and Louise, couldn't be nicer, and they work their socks off for their guests. No one tries harder! Breakfasts are a treat. My only disappointment - a room with a not-so-nice view. More
