We had just one night at the Onich but had booked a balcony room...this was well worth it as the views were superb and the balcony was spacious. The weather helped as it was sunny and clear, we had a walk down to the beach and around the gardens which were very nice. From the lochside the hotel does not... More

The hotel is in a great position with good views from dining room and bedroom. Our room was well-appointed. The food and service was good. I had haunch of venison which was well cooked. Onich provided a good overnight stop on our way to Skye.

Stayed there with my daughter and had booked a twin room but they moved us to a family room no extra charge, very clean and comfy rooms would definitely stay there again, the breakfasts were epic, the highlight of the stay.

When we arrived at the onich hotel we were impressed by the views and gardens and that's when the goodness stopped. The onich has a shabby exterior and the same look is carried out through the whole hotel. We were directed to room 5 (double en suite with loch view) and we were less than impressed. Dirty glass in bathroom... More

This hotel is not the most picturesque one in the neighborhood. It does not provide the class it possibly could or maybe used to. But it has a character, a great location and a fantastic staff. We arrived unannounced at 9 pm in the peak of the high season and asked about accommodation for 3 people. Our back-up plan was... More

6 adults and a 4 year old.......what a fantastic dining experience! Quality, portion size & value for money were just wonderful.......even 'though the restaurant was packed to the gunwhales! Our sincere thanks to Dieter, Aga and the all the staff. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

Room was booked and clearly advertised as a roadside room - so no surprises there. Staff were very friendly, and never noticed the traffic during the night. A good meal was served and despite the place being very busy - there was not a big wait for the food. A nice breakfast in the morning, and all in all good... More

After initially arriving at the reception desk and being asked to wait while the staff member continued working on his PC for five minutes, I was then ignored further when another guest arrived and was served before myself. With expectation already diminished I was further frustrated to be given a room directly on the noisy and very busy road, even... More

Bit of a mixed review for this hotel, it is in a lovely position overlooking the Loch, but on a very busy road, however plenty of space for kids to run round and a nice patio area for a glass of something, staff were friendly enough, but the hotel is a bit tired and looks like it could do with... Don't pop in for a quick bite to eat. Very very slow service. The staff seem to be a lot of young girls without any supervision. When I mentioned that if there was going to be an hour's wait for food, they should tell folk that at point of order, there wasn't much response. Great location, nice pub, food was... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant on Trip Advisor. However, since our current General Manager came on board in April our hotel has taken the stance that we no longer support Trip Advisor Reviews. Yours is exactly the reason why. The review neglects to inform people that we have an extremely busy restaurant who actively asks... More
