Just come back from 5 nights here. Manager and his wife were excellent company and very accommodating of our erratic time keeping (we were ice climbing). Food was varied and tasty. Looking forward to going back soon

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of December 2014 so I could get caught up on some writing for work. The hotel was perfect for this as there are very few distractions in Onich. The staff treated me very well. I had a great room with a wonderful view of the loch and the food was very... More

Due to a family bereavement we had to book at short notice. My wife is disabled and they managed to accommodate us. The staff were helpful and friendly. They experienced considerable disruption from the funeral party but rose to the occasion.. The food was nice. Although the decoration was slightly tired the room was good and catered for my disabled... More

We stayed here from Friday-Sunday. We stayed here last year and decided to return as we couldn't fault the place! The staff are friendly and helpful. Some gave us ideas of where to go ans what there is to see and do. Our room was spacious and clean and of course a great view of the loch and mountains (unfortunately... More

The staff were very friendly and the food was OK. Good breakfast. Beautiful views over the loch. However, the hotel is a little tired and could do with an update and the room needed a refurbishment, especially the bathroom. The room at the front was a good size but next to the road (and I really do mean next to... More

We were a party of three adults and stayed 2 nights. The bedrooms were at the back, were small, poorly designed with the mirror being AT THE END of the clothes hanging area and therefore hidden. Basic toiletries and facilities like hair dryer and a PAPER BATH MAT! Then there was the breakfast, very average fare, needs to cater much... More

My room was fine, large and with a fantastic view of the sea loch. It was well furnished and equipped and in good condition. The only issue was an old style shower curtain for the over bath shower, which tried to wrap itself round me while I showered. An excellent point for the room was that it was very dark... More

We stayed at the Onich Hotel, attracted by the spectacular location and views over the loch and mountains. Superb. Most things about this hotel are good:: lounge, bar, restaurant, food, and staff. Where it lets itself down is maintenance. Our room 27 was badly in need of refurbishment. The bathroom extractor fan did not work. Although we reported this on... More

What a disappointment - our first hotel after several wonderful B&Bs. It's all about location for this hotel - it has great views of the loch and the gardens are enjoyable where they meet the waters edge. The venue is tired looking, the 'superior room' which was quite large had only a double bed, patio doors where the lock did... More
