The voucher-deal roadshow continued on its way with a trip up the A82 after weekend disappointment in Oban (the Blackpool of Argyll) and found the perfect antidote. Situated on the banks of Loch Linnhe, this hotel was an oasis of calm beauty in a mad world and not just a pretty face either. A bright and comfortable room was complemented... More

We stopped by in search of some lunch, on our way back from holiday, not looking for anything particularly special, and we were delighted with what we found! The menu was surprisingly extensive and modern, while retaining its pub-grub feel. My husband had a venison burger with brie, beautifully presented, and I had the falafel with spinach, tomato and yoghurt.... More

After reading some of the reviews me and my son were somewhat wondering what to expect.....what a delight, the room was fine clean and roomy, the breakfast was excellent as was the rest of our stay....all for less than a local hostel.....absolutely brilliant after a hard days skiing and defiantly stay again..... Thank you to all the staff who were marvellous.

My wife and I stopped here for a quick bite on our way South after Easter, greatly relieved to find a restaurant still serving hot food at 3.30pm. Once inside, it took a few minutes to locate someone to serve us, but thereafter the service was fast and friendly. We had fish and chips on the terrace overlooking the beautiful... More

This traditional loch-side hotel is in one of the most beautiful locations in the Lochaber area between Fort William and Glencoe. We stopped for a quick lunch on the way south and were not disappointed. I could be picky and say that the sign advertising "Bar meals all day" is a little misleading. Meals in the bar is a more... Location is perfect, staff extremely efficient and food top notch.the rooms are "standard" but at £110 for a room looking over the loch and all the positives of this place it is inconsequential.will definitely be back

We visited the restaurant at lunchtime and we sat at the table near the patio with a great view of the water, we had an excellent stornaway black pudding and bacon salad and a salty chocolate/caramel pudding, it was fab so we decided to eat here in the evening. We arrived a little late due to a local bus not... More

Got a great deal here staying for two nights in late March. They have been doing lots of refurbishment, so the rooms are pretty decent. Views from the dining room are great. Unfortunately the hotel is on a fairly busy road (although it calms down a lot at night).
