On our arrival at the hotel with a Groupon voucher, we upgraded our room and this was very worthwhile. Rather than a room with a side view of Loch Linnhie, we asked for a front-facing room with stupendous views ... woke up to the mountains covered in snow! Room was clean, comfortable and very warm and cosy. We ate in... More

Great location with fantastic views from our front facing room, furniture worn and too much bric-a-brac that needs a good dusting. Below average food on quite a limited menu, and sadly lacking in any atmosphere. Needs investment and a personality injection.

A really comfortable room. Some of the furnishings were a little but worn, but the comfort and the views more than made up for that. Limited menu, but an enjoyable dinner, although strangely we were not offered dessert or coffee! Settled for a large brandy in front of the log fire ...

We arrived to Lodge on the Loch on our last night of our Scottish trip, we had been staying self catered before hand so we thought it would be a nice idea to book a hotel for our last night for some service and for the comfort of having everything including restaurant under one roof. We arrived at the "hotel"... More

Enjoyed the stay. View from the room was spectacular! Breakfast great. Bathroom very good with a jacuzzi bath!! Central location for touring brilliant. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful with advice and recommendations for where to go. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed one night on our trip around the Scottish Highlands. We had a large room with tea and coffee making facilities, free-standing bathtub, and stunning views over the lake. Beds were comfortable and the room impressive. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. Also, the owner remembered that I had enquires about black pudding for breakfast, and... More

Would stay again. Very comfortable bed with beautiful views of the loch and mountains. Spotlessly clean room with en suite spa/Jacuzzi bath and a separate shower. Our choice for dinner at the hotel was the most tender and tasty steak that we have enjoyed recently and served with perfectly cooked veg. Staff were friendly and informative about the history of... Was worried when read the reviews on here but had a wonderful stay, glad we went! Excellent room with a loch view which is to die for, nice bathroom, bath with jacuzzi, comfy beds and pillows, spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent, knew the locale and gave good suggestions for places to see which proved spot on. The food was excellent;... More

We booked this hotel as my boyfriend and I wanted to stay on a loch away from hustle and bustle. On that point the hotel delivers the views are stunning. Everything else however was lacking. The sat nav wasn't working so we tried to ring the hotel for directions, no answer. It was evident when we arrived why - we... More

Paid full price for 2 nights although others had itison vouchers. I'm sure even they didn't get value for money. The views were incredible and that is the only good thing about our stay. It's as if it is frozen in time. Badly in need of a makeover. No atmosphere at all. The inside of the kettle in our room... More
