A lovely vegetarian b&b conveniently located to make the most of the "great outdoors", a stone's throw from the stunning views of Loch Linnhe. The house is very big and the garden in particular is quite remarkable and we loved all the chickens roaming free in the back. We were particularly impressed with the delicious and plentiful vegetarian (vegan on... More

Ian and Lisa have a lovely B&B in a very conveneient location for travelling north or exploring this part of Scotland. We have at last managed to stay in this lovely place and for the first time ever in Scotland had hosts who understand that people who prefer to eat plant based diets (vegan) like a decent breakfast too! Other guests... More

Stayed for one night at beginning of June on our way to Mull. We have been here twice before and have nothing but praise for Cuildorag House and its owners, Lisa and Ian. The house is old and full of character and set in beautiful grounds. Good walks nearby. We had a beautiful room at the front with a new... More

Our stay at the Cuildorag House couldn't have been more pleasant. The house retains much of its historic character, and the room was enormous with a modern en suite. Both bedroom and bathroom had views of the beautiful gardens. Ian's breakfasts were very good, made from eggs from their own hens. (Insider tip: try some of the honey from his... More

We love visiting Scotland, especially the Highlands, and last year our stay was too rushed so we decided to spend a few days at Cuildorag, which is only a few minutes away from Fort William and the Ben Nevis mountain range. Lisa and Ian accommodated our vegan requirements extremely well and also prepared a vegan meal on one of the... More

Arriving from Edinburgh on a Sunday, we had arranged for supper beforehand. The owner, Lisa Glaze, prepared a pureed squash soup (the dairy portions had cream drizzled on top, the vegan ones soy cream), freshly baked rolls, a vegetable quiche, salad, and baked potatoes. Dessert was a delicious nectarine, plum, and gooseberry tart. Breakfast was ample: freshly baked rolls with... More

I just returned from this B & B in Scotland. It was a wonderful stay and I don't usually like Bed & Breakfasts. The owners Lisa and her male partner were easy, relaxed, and have created a beautiful place to be. The upstairs bedroom with the lovely green wallpaper was a wonderful bedroom; breezy, comfortable mattress, lovely window with a... More

A most comfortable and relaxing place to stay. the room was comfortable, quiet and clean, the breakfasts lovely, and the views and nature beautiful. A great location with access to the lochs and mountains around. Hope we have a chance to come back. Lisa and Ian were very laid back and contributed to the overall relaxation of the place.

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were huge and beautiful. Views of the lawns and flowers, with a bit of the loch in the background. Cows mooing in the background. Roosters in the morning. Very peaceful. The bath was shared, but with sinks in the room that wasn't really an issue. Breakfast was very good, with accommodating... More
