Malcolm and Sally McCall runs a great B&B at Inverbrora farm, very friendly atmosphere, nice rooms, living room with open fire, nice breakfast. Very affordable. Stayed there 23-24/9 on the way down from Orkney, greatest overnight we had on a twelve day trip to Scotland!! Thank You! (Swede)

My sister, brother-in-law and I had a lovely visit at Inverbrora this past summer. Malcolm and Sally were very welcoming and enjoyable to talk with. Their home is beautiful, comfortable and nicely located. Our rooms were perfectly appointed. There were a number of menu choices for breakfast, all of which were delicious and enjoyed in a relaxing and beautiful dining... More

Leaving Edinburgh, it seemed rushed to make the drive to the ferry at Scrabster by the 12:30 pm boarding time. So we decided to overnight at Inverbrora Farm BNB. What a find! This is a charming working farm with acre of pasture and sheep behind and a short walk to the sea across the highway. Malcolm and Sallie McCall were... More

This was such a delightful stay-- my favorite place in all of Scotland, to date! I traveled solo (female). The farm is charming and peaceful, and Malcolm and Sally were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were very comfortable. I even happened to get a free upgrade since their children were home visiting. Malcolm kindly gave me... More

This place is charming and lovely, has wonderful linens, in a beautiful setting with a good breakfast. Malcolm and Sally are terrific hosts. Malcolm gave us a ride to a trail head near the farm where he grew up, and another day dropped us at the train. 500 sheep and some cows and a cute West Highland terrier add to... More

The farm is in a beautiful place and is so full of character. Malcolm and Sally made us feel so welcome and relaxed, we had the run of the house. We had one of the ensuite rooms with lovely soft fluffy towels and a lovely shower. The breakfast was superb, so tasty, the eggs fresh from the farm so the... More

Six tired cyclists stayed at Inver Brora Farm on their last night of a journey from Lands End to John o groats. Malcolm and Sally were the perfect hosts even providing an evening meal for us due to our late arrival, swapping our warm beer with their Ice cold beer. Wonderfully comfortable and beautifully furnished the farmhouse matched the welcome of... More

Malcolm and Sally create a really warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel very welcome. I stayed for 3 nights in a lovely en suite room on the first floor, that was really spacious and with wonderful views over the farm and surrounding fields. As others have said, the breakfasts are excellent. Sally bakes her own bread and it... More

Stayed here for a night this week with my daughter while doing a survey nearby. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us the run of the house immediately even though they were going out themselves. The rooms are lovely, the shower knocks you out of the cubicle and the breakfast is beautifully presented. A real find.

I can only endorse what has already been said in earlier reviews. Except to add that this was the very best breakfast we'd eaten in three weeks of travelling in Scotland. Not a little plastic container to be seen, and instead real homemade marmalade, jam and bread, and butter in a butter dish. A beautiful house in a magnificent setting,... More
