We booked 2 rooms next door to each other, turned up and were given rooms 134/135. The problem is these room are nowhere near each other, went to reception and was told nothing they could do, ask to speak with manager who came out looked at computer looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. The rooms were filthy, smelly looked... More

As with your other reviewers this hotel is very poor VFM. Hotel ambience - hard surfaces, ugly, dark, uninviting. The room we had was just about OK for an Executive King room - what a description - and just about OK for one night. The usual 1 tea bag and 1 sugar sachet per person per night. Torch needed if... I stayed there for one night last Saturday. Room was tired. the light above the bedroom mirror didn't work as there were no bulbs in the fitting, and the light above the bathroom mirror also didn't work. I could live with that though as the price was cheap. What I couldn't live with though was what happened at breakfast on... More

Stayed here with a big wedding party and occupied room 6 on the ground floor... A family room, with my wife and three children. Where do I start... Ok, the entrance to the hotel with it's missing floor tiles and uneven floor & discarded cigarette butts wasn't the best of starts... Reception staff friendly enough, with a relatively well decorated... More

Booked as a three star hotel. When we arrived, there was a dance of some sort on the first floor with tons of teenagers dancing in a first floor ball room. When I went to check in, I asked for a quiet room on the other side and was told it was fully booked. We got a room on the... More

Thank you to receptionist Debbie for your very warm welcome. We arrived early after a long drive from Lancashire she organised tea and toast for us and managed to get us into the room very early. The hotel is perfect large spacious rooms, bathrooms and tea and coffe making facilities,( extra supplies on request). We had a meal again reasonably... More

On arriving at front of hotel I was disappointed , a little shabby looking. When entering the reception that was lovely, nice airy and welcoming staff. When I booked I never knew it never had a lift so if you have trouble with stairs make sure you say when booking. Room was a little dated but very clean and tidy.... More

Two concurrent functions both with music a high levels to the early hours of Sunday morning resulted in being unable to sleep after a long journey. Advertised mineral water was not in our room. Whining dog in nearby room and resulting altercation woke us during the night. Not one meber of staff took responsibility to address the situation. No hot... More

The hotel is definitely over due a refurb! The barman last night was absolutely fab and we ordered a pizza which was really nice but could have been hotter. Room was very stuffy and hot despite it being cold. When we opened the window it was right on the motorway and very noisy. The bathroom was tired. Breakfast ....the service... More

This hotel is really easy to find, plenty of parking, room good size, nice big bathroom with bath & shower. It's a little dated and has some funny smells going on in places. The bathroom needed re-grouting and have to say wasn't spotless.. Also getting a drink at the bar in the evening - there were 5 people waiting before... More
