They say first impressions count and this is trueu for Tortworth. Impressive entrance to the grounds, impressive drive, imposing and grand building. Everything about the main building is on a grand scale and the gardens are lovely. When we checked in we were given a map of the layout. Nice touch, I thought but believe me you need it. We... More

We were here for a function so decided to stay overnight. It was very busy as there were two functions that evening and the hotel was full. As has been said previously this place looks impressive but don't be fooled. Many parts are showing signs of needing a refurb, mainly the bedrooms. Our room was at the front and tiny.... More

We went to Tortworth Court for a knife exhibition my partner had been the previous year saying it was a beautiful place so we decided to stay over this time round. There is no doubt it's a beautiful property with lovely gardens. We had lunch in the atrium bar. On each table was a printed bar menu I ordered a... More

My husband purchase a deal from ‘Late Luxury’s’ for our Saturday night at Tortworth Court Hotel. Upon arrival the hotel was beautiful, set in secluded grounds and a stunning building. We had been made aware that we could not check in until 4pm but were aware that we could take afternoon tea from 3pm. We arrived and went to the... More

Staff at check in excellent but don't remove your cases until you are given your room numbers as we did and found that the room we were in was better accessed using the car rather than trying to accommodate the twists and turns of the small corridors. we found it is strange havening to access and egress via what looks... Stayed here for almost a week to attend a conference. Facilities for that are very good, well organised and well presented. Food is also good for larger groups, as is the service. However, many of the rooms do not live up to the promise of the main building- they are in need of some refurbishment. Overall a good business and... More

Lovely room and very clean, despite the long walk to get to it, was worth the walk. I think the room must have just been decorated as everything was pristine. The bed, however was not that comfy and cheap pillows made for not a great nights sleep. Dinner was superb, and the service excellent. The hotel is also set in... More
