£110 for a tired, tatty and dated room. Shower awful fluctuating from lukewarm to cold.Think room also above kitchens judging by all the noise and shouting coming from below next morning. If attending an event I suggest you stay at the Premier Inn and get a taxi.

Wedding 10th Jan 2015. So where do I start, from viewing to venue way back in July to our wedding day the staff have been sooo helpful, considerate, accommodating to our needs and have bent over backwards to make our day as special as it was , Una the wedding/events coordinator has been absolutely superb throughout, nothing was ever an... I've only just signed up to trip advisor which is why it's taken me so long to write this review. We stayed here for one night back in May for our anniversary and were so disappointed. After unpacking we went down to the bar but only after we'd paid for drinks and sat down did they tell us we weren't... More

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. The meal was for about 100 people at a cost of £25 with a pre-ordered choice of menu. Unfortunately very little of the food served bore any resemblance to the description on the menu. My starter was supposed to be served with a salad but I got rock hard toast instead and my dessert of Christmas pudding... More

We booked the best room in the hotel for a friends birthday..the so called "honeymoon suite".The decor is cheap ,ill thought out furniture and I'd be so upset if this was my bridal suite! The carpets were filthy and heavily stained and the wallpaper pealing off! cobwebs everywhere and the lamsphades looked like they had been beaten up!. bedding cheap... More

Having not been to this hotel for sometime we decided to give it a try for afternoon tea, as the setting and views from many of the rooms/bars are lovely. We went on a sunny day and upon booking were told the only available slot was 3.00pm. On arriving we were shown to a dark and dingy back room overlooking... More

The hotel is a charming looking manor house in the Kent Countryside and it looks most impressive during the summer when the flowers are in bloom. We chose the venue for our wedding reception because of the location close to Maidstone but also because of the classical look and stately feel. We stayed in a basic room the first night,... More

Had my daughter's wedding here and they did a great job. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to make the day special. It is an attractive building surrounded by greenery and old trees. The rooms were nice and a decent size and the room rate was very reasonable. The food served at the wedding... More

We booked a twin room but on arrival were told they had to move us to a family room, so my daughter had to sleep in a bunk bed not satisfactory. Cold shower. Menu in bar was wrong so we didnt get what we ordered. The dessert also was wrong not sticky toffee pudding but some apple pie with sticky... More
