nice pub, friendly staff, good range of real ales.the whistable bay ale is exceptional.the only criticism i could make would be the lunch.sandwiches were served with a small salad,,but the plates were warm which tended to wilt the salad leaves, but the sandwiches were fine.aas usual for me i find the bill of nearly £39 very expensive for four drinks and four sandwiches,but... Stopped and ate here for a few nights in July Heat Wave. Good parking, the staff were absolutely great and very helpful. Dogs were treated as accepted guests, with specific bedrooms allocated for your "with dog" stayovers. We were in a groundfloor barn annexe, which was a lot smaller than it looked in the web photos and sweltering because of... More

We booked all the rooms for our family - we were attending my Daughters' wedding at a local venue over the weekend of 2 August 2014. Steve, the manager , and his team were all very friendly and extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We had a dinner for 22 of the family on the friday night and... More

This was a short lunch on the way back from a walk. Freshly made coronation chicken sandwiches on rye (decent sized pieces of chicken), ham egg and chips, salmon on rye. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

A nice BB with very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and drinks and a well noise insulated, spacious family room above the restaurant. A good start and finish of a trip through Kent and E Sussex. Car park and garden with children's playground are safely separated. Food and drinks to be consumed in garden and in nice pub.

Reviews were good but a pub is a pub so I wasn't sure. It wasn't noisy, towels were fluffy, bathroom luxurious. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast selection good, my husband enjoyed kippers and I enjoyed continental platter, croissant with slices of what seemed to be local ham and cheese.

This beautiful hotel and pub is located in the picturesque village of Wye, only a couple of miles outside of Ashford. As a single traveller on business I got fed up with the impersonal large hotels and decided to stay at The New Flying Horse instead. The staff were very friendly from the start, providing me with a lovely large... More

Our room was one of the stable rooms separate from the main building. Room was small but fit the bill for and overnight stop while on a walking holiday. Evening meal in the restaurant was nice and the staff very friendly (with exception of Manager, whose greeting was lacklustre).

We were surprised at the quality and presentation of food at The New Flying Horse Hotel in Wye, Kent. We are a senior Australian couple who were recommended this little gem of a hotel by our B&B. Access was limited one night due to roadworks and we did try eating at another local pub another night which wasn't close to... More

We booked this pub/hotel for 2 nights stay in June as a stopover before crossing over on the Channel Tunnel as it is only 20 mins away and well located. Unfortunately for us the pub was being painted outside so we had to put up with scaffolding outside our room and workman painting outside from 9am. Not great if you... More
