Stayed overnight en route from Uk to Italy in order to make an early channel crossing. Location convenient - 30 mins to the tunnel. Very friendly, warm and cosy. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Good private parking facilities, so safe to leave a car full of Christmas presents! All the usual trimmings, toiletries, TV, coffee/tea making facilities - and even fresh... More

Stayed 1 night. Room was adequate but not spacious although bathroom & shower was very nice. Had a good diner in very quiet dining room after a couple of drinks in the pleasant, busy bar which had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was OK. Service was attentive.

Stayed for two nights as a little winter break. We had a room in the stable block which was more than sufficient for a 2 night stay; it had everything we wanted. The room was clean and the bathroom had lovely big bath towels - thank you!! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We tried their restaurant on... More

Very quiet location in a nice village. Cosy atmosphere. Very friendly staff and great food at night. The rooms in the stable blocks have a very nice, small bathroom and comfy beds but the rooms itself are rather cramped. Overall excellent value.

2 Night Stay (Fri/Sat) for Myself, Wife and Dog. The dog-friendly room is separate from the main pub and was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable; furnishing and upkeep was to a very high standard - free Wifi in both pub and Room, too: much appreciated. Initial check in was via the publican, who seemed a little stern - on getting... More

Stayed here overnight on route to the Channel Tunnel. Lovely large family room with plenty of character and space even with the sofa bed made up. Very clean and comfortable beds. The room was quiet with not much road noise even though it is on the main street but it is in a quiet area. The one criticism with the... More

We have just spent 3 lovely days at the New Flying Horse. The room was lovely and big enough for the four of us. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and there were good options for the children as well who didn't always want the cooked breakfast. Nice to have plenty of toiletries... More

We have just spent a Saturday night at the New Flying Horse and could not fault it. We received a pleasant check in and welcome from a young lady behind the bar. She was very friendly and helpful. We had booked the family room and paid £72 for the night, including breakfast. The room was large, comfortable and very clean,... More

We stayed here as a change from the usual hotel in Ashford & were very pleased. Great service from friendly staff, nice room with large bed & proper bath. Delicious breakfast next morning Lovely large grounds/garden for summer days. Will stay here again.
