A cosy nicely refurbished post inn, great staging point for anybody passing through the channel ports. Shepherd Neame beers in tip top condition, friendly staff, good food and ambiance. The room in the annexe was perhaps a little small, but it was perfectly adequately for a brief overnight stay. We'll be back!

This is a lovely old style pub in a small village. It has a real fire in the bar area which made it very cosy, and it has a nice dining area. We went for tea (aka dinner). The food was nice and the price was very fair. We were given great service by both members of staff on duty.... More

This is the second time we have stayed at The New Flying Horse. This time it was a 2 night visit to do some Christmas shopping in Canterbury. Yet again we found the staff friendly and the rooms clean and well laid out. The food here is excellent and on the Sunday I chose the roast and it was delicious... More

Stayed here prior to going via euro tunnel - really good service - rooms were fabulous value ( recently stayed in a city for same price this room beat it hands down) had dinner and breakfast food was really good ( not an extensive evening menu - which would please Gordon Ramsay) would recommend

Stayed overnight en route from Uk to Italy in order to make an early channel crossing. Location convenient - 30 mins to the tunnel. Very friendly, warm and cosy. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Good private parking facilities, so safe to leave a car full of Christmas presents! All the usual trimmings, toiletries, TV, coffee/tea making facilities - and even fresh... More

Stayed 1 night. Room was adequate but not spacious although bathroom & shower was very nice. Had a good diner in very quiet dining room after a couple of drinks in the pleasant, busy bar which had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was OK. Service was attentive.

Stayed for two nights as a little winter break. We had a room in the stable block which was more than sufficient for a 2 night stay; it had everything we wanted. The room was clean and the bathroom had lovely big bath towels - thank you!! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We tried their restaurant on... More

Very quiet location in a nice village. Cosy atmosphere. Very friendly staff and great food at night. The rooms in the stable blocks have a very nice, small bathroom and comfy beds but the rooms itself are rather cramped. Overall excellent value.

2 Night Stay (Fri/Sat) for Myself, Wife and Dog. The dog-friendly room is separate from the main pub and was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable; furnishing and upkeep was to a very high standard - free Wifi in both pub and Room, too: much appreciated. Initial check in was via the publican, who seemed a little stern - on getting... More
