We stayed here before travelling to France and Europe. Good distance from the "Tunnel" but the street parking even though it was a lovely village so please don't let that put you off unless you drive a posh car!. Food was excellent. Staff too!. Room was kind of "shabby shic" but not quite. No blinds so sun woke us up... More

Excellent room, very clean despite being truly dog friendly. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Very attentive, friendly staff. Food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable,

Always helpful this privately owned pub makes everyone welcome whether they come for a coffee or are staying for a few nights.diring our stay one night their kitchen was undergoing some work so they very kindly rang around to find a good place to eat

Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more efficient. Very clean, but it wasn't really what we were expecting. No ones fault but our own, both pensioners (but both fit and mobile) nearly 40 steps to our bedroom. Bedside cabinets painted orange boxes, no wardrobes just hooks on the wall. My husband said it reminded him of football changing rooms. Bare... More

We stayed just one night on our way to Cornwall. Dinner and breakfast were just great and the staff is very kind and professional. The interior design is superb. Well done!!! If you are looking for an accommodation in this area you definetely have to consider the King's Head...

I was down there in July. The staff was very friendly. Absolutely great! Have to try the wonderful menu. You can tell the chef put a lot of heart into it. The room is very carefully decorated a must go if you are around the area.

We looked for a place to have a small meal in Wye. Outside the Kings Head looked cold, but friendly service was the order of the day. Enjoyed the service provided by two helpful members of staff. The food served was well prepared and most welcome.

This is an old pub/hotel that seems to have been completely revamped to remorseless bistro style. My bedroom was monastic in style; bed, small table and two upturned orange crates. The room, apart from the brown floorboards was unremitting gloss white, which in bright sunlight was quite strong. No cupboards, just wooden pegs on the walls to hang your clothes... More

Great place to stay with friendly staff. Rooms were quirky but with a homely feel. Great wine and food selection available at the bar downstairs . Very cosy place to stay. Had to park on road so car park wouldn't go a miss.

A recently, tastefully done up town centre inn, but only three rooms are done, on the top floor of a very steep stair (no assistance with bags offered). The rooms are very basic, no cupboard, drawer or enclosed hanging space, just hanger on the wall. The bed is comfortable but only a standard single. The room was very hot (to... More
