We needed a stopover somewhere not far from the channel tunnel and found this place. The village is adorable, the staff were so lovely and the room itself was just perfect. We didn't eat here in the evening but breakfast was very yummy, thank you :)

We have stayed here before, hence the return. It is a lovely pub and the staff are very friendly. Great location to see wye & also to get the train to the surrounding areas. The rooms are lovely & are nicely decorated. The bathrooms are great & the showers are very hot. However there are a few things that can... More

We stayed over on the Easter Monday. Arrived in the early evening and the owner took us to our room. Our room was lovely, an old fashion style with lovely modern twists. Particularly liked the hooks on the wood panelling to hang your clothes. And the colour scheme was bang on trend. Big mirror = big plus! Dinner the night... More

Six of us had Easter Sunday lunch at the Kings Head in Wye. One of the loveliest roast beef dinners I have had, it tasted amazing, beautiful vegetables, gorgeous potatoes and great service. We will be back very soon!

We stayed at the King's Head for a weekend to enjoy some country air out of London. The hotel was excellent with modern rooms and very friendly staff, particularly the owners. The food was delicious, definitely make a reservation to enjoy Sunday roast, it was one of the best we've had. We fully recommend a stay at the King's Head,... More

Hard beds, not good quality mattress. Waited an hour for breakfast due to a large party of cyclists arriving (guests should be served as priority), waitress flustered and kept forgetting us. Wouldn't book again.

We spent a couple of days at this lovely relatively recently made-over gastro-pub in Wye just before Christmas and would highly recommend. Wye (we used to live here, so we sometimes use it as a base when in the UK) is a charming village with lots of places to eat out and is a great base for appreciating this part... More

I stayed here recently on business. Lovely little village and the pub is so impressive. I loved everything about the way the pub looked. The nice lady checked me in and took me up a steep staircase all the way to the top floor where my beautiful room was located. This room was just gorgeous. I stay away every week... More

We had a cheese fondue that was tasty but really thin, should have had a much thicker consistency. Lamb burger, the quality of which was amazing quality, but the bun itself was far too dry, not enough sauce, lettuce etc. The chips were like bricks, I've had chunky chips, but these were ridiculous! Salty Caramel fondue with churros (doughnuts) absolutely... More

Excellent hotel for both us and our dog. Staff very friendly and efficient overall a very good stay. Parking can be a little difficult but there is a free car park within a short walk from the hotel (2 minutes max) Wye is an unspoilt village with lots of character.
