Just returned from a two day break. From booking in the receptionist was very helpful and friendly pointing out where everything was and offering help with our luggage. The whole place is tastefully decorated with lots of quirky touches. We had a complimentary afternoon tea in the lounge area of the bar which was very well presented and tasty. The... More

Found this boutique hotel in the middle of north west Norfolk almost by accident and I have to admit that it is so well presented that I had to go inside and ask if they offered light lunchtime snacks for non-residents, (it looks that posh !!) Made most welcome by very pleasant staff. There is an excellent little sandwich menu... More

As the weather has been quite grey and cold we took advantage of the beautiful saturday sunshine and headed east to the Norfolk coast. After walking the dog at Sandringham we headed to the kings head which we discovered last summer..we weren't disappointed as the food "whitebait" and a wonderful voignier recommended were excellent. Our 4 yr old tucked to... More

I have just returned from a two day stay at The King's Head Hotel where I stayed with a group of 15 guests. The food, staff and service at this hotel were all superb and nothing too much trouble. I look forward to returning.

We recently had a very pleasant 2 day break at the Kings Head in Norfolk. The hotel is a boutique small hotel with attached bar and restaurant. The staff were welcoming and polite and the room (an upgraded double) was both spacious and comfortable. The food was reasonably priced and as part of our package the first nights' evening meal... My wife and I stayed here on a dinner, bed and breakfast package for 1 night. We arrived at dusk after a lovely winters day exploring the coast and villages of north Norfolk. The welcome was really good and we were shown to our room. The room was warm and cost, nicely furnished with a lovely outlook over the fields... More

We had a meal here last night. It was first class as was the service. We were the only ones eating probably as it was a cold windy Sunday night. Apparently they had been very busy at lunch time. We were made very welcome and were shown into a beautifully decorated restaurant. My husband ordered a mixed seafood cocktail and... More

We booked in for dinner 4 people There was no meet and greet on arrival but smokers outside the front door not very professional which I would say summed up our evening Our view of the staff was that they lacked any real attention to detail no one seemed to be in charge Our dinner order was taken by a... Excellent night.Terrific singing by Harri Heber and a great accompanying meal,if a little lacking in substance. The worst thing about this Hotel is continuing to allow people to stand outside the front door smoking and then when the door is opened allowing cigarette smoke to permeate into the bar. Ban on-site smoking!
