We stayed here for two nights and we were very pleased with the friendly welcome we got, the cleanliness of The Plough throughout was excellent, the breakfast was very good, with locally sourced produce and was very tasty. We would definitely stay here again.

The Plough Inn is a free house so there is plenty of choice of bitters, lagers, ciders and spirits both on tap and bottled. The menu in the restaurant is varied and has plenty of choice between meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The location is good with close proximity to Cromer, Sheringham and the Norfolk Broads. We stayed at The... More

We spent 3 days at the plough and found the rooms warm and comfortable, the bed was also comfortable. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and effecient and the food was divine ! We must praise the Chef, what a very talented young man !

Superb find! Stayed 3 nights with my mother to explore Norfolk for the first time, having excellent access to both The Broads and the North Norfolk Coast. Food was excellent, evening meals and breakfast - the chef has real imagination. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our twin room was comfortable and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Privately owned - pleasantly pleasing - friendly, hospitable - good food breakfast and evenings! Relatively quiet part of Norfolk although easily accessed at the Aylsham side of the Aylsham - Norwich Road -

We have dined here a number of times. On this evening we weren't intending to come here but couldn't choose anywhere else, so booked the plough knowing it would be ok. Everything was fabulous! Great food, good service and a warm comfortable dining room on a chilly winter's night. Amongst our recommendations: souffle, bruschetta and the chilli beef with noodles... More

Came here a couple of months ago with my old partner and was really impressed with the food. We were greeted into a warm pub/restaurant setting and we're then giving great service and advice from our waitress. I had pork belly with rhubarb compot with mash and sides and it was simply to die for. I then had a eaton... More

We wanted to do something different this year for New Year's Eve so we decided to have a night away in a county pub with a good restaurant. At the Plough Inn we struck gold. The pub is on the main road between Norwich and Cromer and just a few miles from the pretty town of Aylsham so easy to... More

Four of us went to The Plough for a pre-Christmas treat and when we go somewhere for the first time we look for three things - good food at reasonable prices and served in a friendly manner. All three were met and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I was sorry that it seemed rather quiet and I would say to... More
