We spent one night away, but wished we could stay longer. Everything about it was incredible, it was impossible to pick anything bad about this lovely b&b. The house and the adjacent accommodation was beautiful, the garden was kept immaculately and the surrounding scenery made for the perfect setting. The bedroom was fantastic, with lovely furniture and huge comfy bed.... More

Stayed here just a night, but wanted to take the time to leave a review as a thanks to Amanda and her husband. Really cannot fault anything. From the check-in experience, to the quality of the premises, the comfort and facilities of the room (great shower, bed and very private and warm), the extra touches where the owners clearly went... It was late, getting dark, and we had no idea where to stay on our way out to the coast. The old Stables B&B popped up and was selected for no reason other than that I love horses. It is definitely somewhere out there on the way to somewhere else, but oh, what a lovely drive in the countryside, and... More

A nice, quiet place with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The full English breakfast was the best I've had in a long time - easy pace, good coffee and excellent bacon and sausage! We also had a fantastic meal at the Kings Head at nearby Tealby. Take a torch with you - there are no street lights round here... More

I stayed 1 night whilst away on business - I only wish my wife had been with me. This place is simply perfect and the owner ( Amanda ) could not have been any more accommodating. I ate at a pub called The Kings Head about 2 miles up the road and the meal was the icing on the cake.... More

We spent just one night here, while walking the Viking Way. The room looked as if it had been recently fitted - the bed was very comfortable - while the bathroom felt positively luxurious. We knew that there wasn't anywhere to eat in the village so we'd brought a "picnic" with us, which we ate in the room where breakfast... More

We have just returned from the Old Stables. It was beautiful and very peacful. It has a beautiful garden right at your front door. The rooms were to a high standard, tea & coffee faciltities and a very well kitted out bathroom, loved the power shower. Amanda the owner and her husband makes you feel very welcome from the moment... More

The old stables is a perfect little haven in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. We have just returned from a one night stay. Our room was delightful with a lovely garden just outside our window. The room, although not large, had everything we needed- a luxurious bathroom with a wet room shower, modern fixtures and a radiator covered with fluffy towels.... More

Beautiful location with wonderful views of a beautiful garden to look at from each room. Beds are really comfortable and the rooms are well fitted. We originally we only going for one night but I was so glad we took another night. We were the only guests but the choice of breakfast was not reduced at all. The food was... More

Superb accommodation! My relatives stayed over the bank holiday weekend. They wanted something different, private and not a typical hotel. This place is simply perfect. I will be booking myself in for a weekend break with the wife! I was rather jealous when I collected them to go site seeing!!
