We stayed one night. Beautiful peaceful spot! The garden was lovely! The room was spotless! Slept very well! Hostess was friendly and quite helpful. she recommended a nice walk up the hill to the old church.

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room itself was very clean and modern, but still kept a cosy traditional feel, with a lovely comfy bed and the shower was excellent. The full english breakfast was very good and there was a good selection... More

Great location for walking - right on the Viking Way. Very comfortable, cosy room; quiet, perfectly equipped, excellent shower, spotlessly clean. Ideal for a weekend. Lovely surroundings, even in the rain! The breakfast was fantastic, as were Peter and Amanda. We're a gay couple and felt entirely welcome and at ease - they were friendly, helpful, and generally lovely people.... More

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, peaceful setting and perfect attention to detail. Although our room was not on the large size, it was perfectly adequate, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The best part was the 'most comfortable' king size bed........Best nights sleep ever! Modern bathroom with walk in wet room, again beautifully designed. Amanda was both welcoming, attentive and informative. When we... More

We spent one night away, but wished we could stay longer. Everything about it was incredible, it was impossible to pick anything bad about this lovely b&b. The house and the adjacent accommodation was beautiful, the garden was kept immaculately and the surrounding scenery made for the perfect setting. The bedroom was fantastic, with lovely furniture and huge comfy bed.... More

Stayed here just a night, but wanted to take the time to leave a review as a thanks to Amanda and her husband. Really cannot fault anything. From the check-in experience, to the quality of the premises, the comfort and facilities of the room (great shower, bed and very private and warm), the extra touches where the owners clearly went... It was late, getting dark, and we had no idea where to stay on our way out to the coast. The old Stables B&B popped up and was selected for no reason other than that I love horses. It is definitely somewhere out there on the way to somewhere else, but oh, what a lovely drive in the countryside, and... More

A nice, quiet place with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The full English breakfast was the best I've had in a long time - easy pace, good coffee and excellent bacon and sausage! We also had a fantastic meal at the Kings Head at nearby Tealby. Take a torch with you - there are no street lights round here... More

I stayed 1 night whilst away on business - I only wish my wife had been with me. This place is simply perfect and the owner ( Amanda ) could not have been any more accommodating. I ate at a pub called The Kings Head about 2 miles up the road and the meal was the icing on the cake.... More

We spent just one night here, while walking the Viking Way. The room looked as if it had been recently fitted - the bed was very comfortable - while the bathroom felt positively luxurious. We knew that there wasn't anywhere to eat in the village so we'd brought a "picnic" with us, which we ate in the room where breakfast... More
