My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights during June 2014 just as a little break to celebrate the end of exams! We found a really good deal on GroupOn and had wanted to visit York for quite some time so were very excited about our stay. The hotel itself is in a very rural location - I really... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights on a dealmonster £79 bed and breakfast offer, travelling south from a weekend in Durham for a family wedding. Yes, the location is very rural, but this allows for a quiet and relaxing stay. The rooms were more than adequate with a good sized bathroom, although the shower arrangement could be improved,... Me and my family had high expectations for this grand hotel but instead we obtained a small room which we struggled to fit the travel cot in and a view of where the rubbish is placed. We stayed over the bank holiday weekend for one night. It was £68 for the Sunday. The plus side to this hotel was the... More

we booked this hotel for a special w/e away, only to find it was no better than a premier inn (in nicer grounds), the room was exactly like a PI, expensive £109 for 2 people for 1 night breakfast extra. Bar staff friendly but rest of place very impersonal. will not be visiting again.

Just returned from a one night stay at Burn Hall after attending a Silver Wedding celebration at the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The room we had was on the top floor and was perfect for our stay. The venue was just great for a celebration of... More

We stayed for 2 nights on a short break. Rooms are clean and modern, lovely surroundings and grounds. Very convenient location, only 5 minutes and a very easy drive to the park & ride to see the sites (which has to beat trying to find parking in the centre). The food is excellent. There is a good quality selection from... More

Just had an excellent 2 night B&B Deal Monster break at this hotel. On arrival we left our bags and went into York, about 15 mins away. Following a great day in York visiting the Jorvik Centre, and a boat ride, we had something to eat at BILL'S restaurant in the centre. On return to Hotel we thought we would... More

Recently returned from 2 nights stay at Burn Hall. Booked through Super Breaks and got a very reasonable deal with dinner included on the first night and reduced rail fair. The standard rooms are not big but enough for the stay. En suite bathroom was adequate and clean. This is a typical chain hotel in a pleasant location.Dinner was excellent on... More
