We stayed here a few years ago and were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge because they were fully booked. We stayed on a Bed, Breakfast and had our Evening Meal there too. We couldn't fault the food and the service was also very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere of a country pub.

The standard of comfort and cleanliness was exceptional with the warm welcome of the staff making one feel at home. The restaurant food was amazingly good and both food and accommodation were reasonably priced. Will certainly visit again.

Just stopped for a pint and a bite to eat. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Good efficient, helpful, friendly service. Brilliant food. Well worth a drive out in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. I would definitely come back again.

We had a choice of sitting in the fabulous conservatory or in the dining room. We chose the conservatory as it was a sunny evening. Salmon fish cake for starters which was beautifully... More

The service was excellent and even when we asked could we move to a bigger table when one became free it was not too much trouble. We enjoyed... More

The Plough has changed hands, Hurrah. Out is the pretentious minimum food maximum price menu, out is the locals, drinkers and dogs not welcome attitude, out are the very limited opening hours, in is sensible pub food at sensible prices, in is open from noon until late, in is 'we want the pub to be the centre of village life'.... We stayed one night at this lovely hotel, rooms were excellent as was the breakfast and the fabulous evening meal. The couple who run this are very friendly and welcoming as are the staff. Lovely conservatory and gardens and near to Settle and Clitheroe. Perfect break would recommend highly.

Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel in a stunning location. New owners were friendly and accommodating. Food, both breakfast and evening meal, were very good and there was plenty of choice. Will definitely return.
