Just come home from our local pub feeling happy and full. Our meal was well served and presented, tasty and for the price, exceptional. The surroundings have had a makeover which enhanced the atmosphere.

Decided to revisit and was pleasantly surprised by new and varied menu. Food and service was very good and surroundings always nice. The only thing that stopped me giving full marks was when busy the service can be a little slow between courses. Will revisit to check out more options on menu or for rare beef salad again.

We were not staying at the hatch, we were staying just up the road, I gave them a call a friendly gent answered me saying they had a singer and free buffet and auction as it was Red Nose Day! Myself & husband walked to the pub, we were a bit nervous walking into a local pub, however no need... More

Stayed here one night to visit with friends playing golf nearby. Bedroom was huge and bed so comfy! Extra sofa in room and lovely furniture too. Enjoyed my soak in the free standing bath but did take 23 mins to run - the bar staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyied the pool table in the bar too! Great... More

I have been staying at this hotel, when I am on business in the area, for about 8 years now. The last owner, who was in charge for about 3 years, was a bit odd and probably in the wrong trade and I had seen a fall-off in trade during my visits there. The new owners, who I believe took over at... More

After finding and booking the Hatch Inn we were not disappointed when we arrived. A lovely warm, family and friendly atmosphere from Carl and Mel greeted us. The room was far more than we needed but was very welcoming to have the space without the children. A nice afternoon in the bar with Carl and Mel followed by us being... More

We arrived and received a warm welcome. We were shown to our large room. Everything was clean and there was wifi in our room also there was an information folder in the room with lots of local leafets. There was a cat called Lily who was very cute and friendly and also Maggie and Charlie the b&b dogs. The breakfast... More

Loved our stay,a little run down but that is reflected in the price. The rooms are sparse but lovely clean white bedding & towels. The owners are lovely & easy going and work from 7 til 12 midnight daily ! Not sure how they keep going. It's an animal friendly place which is great if you want to bring pets.... More

Stayed in room 6 - lovely room, very clean and well decorated. A little tired downstairs in the hotel/pub but the staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect for a stop over. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money.
