I visired here whilst working at the nearby Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum. The room was small but perfect for just one person. It was warm, homely and parking was good. Unfortunately there was no television reception at all and it was very difficult to find! The breakfast was spot on and was much needed for the day ahead! I have recomended... More

We booked a two night stay online a fortnight or so before we travelled & then made our way from Liverpool to the Doncaster area after work on Friday evening after the traffic had died off. The b&b is easy to find in Thorne & we got parked up in the tight carpark. The owners must live off-site as we... More

The room was a bit cramped & basic too much furniture really...beds not very comfortable room was cold but instructions for heating as they had set times to keep the carbon footprint... More

Great location, outstanding accommodation, excellent food, decent prices, and wonderful friendly and helpful proprietors. What more could you ask for. At all levels, thoroughly recommended. Really can’t praise enough.

Stayed here again last Thursday evening. Room large well maintained and clean. Everything working as intended. Breakfast room bright and airy. Breakfast as good as up market business hotels. Everybody friendly and helpful. When I am in the area I always make this my first choice of accommodation. Highly recommended and great value for money.

From the warm welcome by the owner Karen to the friendly send off, the Thorne Central guesthouse was cleaner and nicer then many expensive hotels in the UK. The room was exactly what I expected, being modern with a comfy bed, clean bathroom and nice shower. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared. Wifi worked perfectly, as in many hotels its... More

Not a bad little place, friendly staff and decent enough rooms. All clean and tidy and the breakfast was ok too. The location was quite central as well, only a short walk to the pubs/shops/takeaways etc. I would stay again next time I am in the area.
