Homely in the best sense, where every wish, question or need of guests are immediately attended to. Breakfasts are superb, especially the vegetarian specials. Tea and cakes in the afternoon are a very welcome bonus, as is the advice as to where to eat in the evenings - and the booking of tables for it. All in all it would... More

My husband and I and a couple of friends stayed here for a short break. We had a lovely time. A lovely tray of cakes and a pot of tea on arrival. It's spotlessly clean, and they really are 'The perfect hosts'. The bed was really comfy, and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice. All in all a... More

This place is an absolute gem on the moors. From the moment we arrived to departure we made to feel extremely welcome. The breakfast,s are worthy of a special mention, they were stunning. I could go on and on about this place but I will just round it off with one word......SUPERB. Liz, Kelly, Keith, thank you.

We recently visited Fairhaven in Goathland. What a unique place and we were made so welcome at Fairhaven. Our room was clean and comfortable. The general public areas are well decorated and furnished. Our breakfasts were superb. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly I left my diary behind and they were very swift in sending it back to me. Customer... More

A great property with 1st class hospitality. Establishment left in the care of Kelly and Richard whilst Mum and Dad enjoyed a well-deserved break in Jersey. From the experience of our stay, Mum and Dad can feel both proud and confident that they can enjoy many more breaks. Excellent service from Kelly and Richard. We will be back and make... More

We stay in B&Bs a lot while touring on our motorbikes and I have to say Liz, Keith & Kelly run one of the most friendly, well run places we've ever stayed at. The location is wonderful, the bed was really comfortable, the cream tea served on our arrival was unexpected and most welcome after a long ride up. I... More

We had a lovely long weekend here from the moment Keith appeared in the car park to welcome us and collect our luggage, to the moment of departure, when he got his car out of the garage so we could jump start our ailing Classic from it. I can't imagine a better place to stay. The room was excellent: comfortable... More

My Husband and I went to stay at this guest house for a long Weekend, I have never been to such a friendly welcoming guest house before. The owners Liz and Keith along with their daughter Kelly made you feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. When you arrive you have a cup of tea and cakes and... More

Cannot thank Liz, Keith & Kelly enough for their hospitality. This felt like we were staying with old friends or family, rather than staying at a B&B. We were met and shown to the parking spots, given keys (we couldn't get in the room, buts thats our tendancy to arrive early no fault of Fairhaven) and some recommendations as to... More

This is the third time we have stayed here at the Fairview now and it just gets better and better. The hospitality is absolutely second to none and the way in which the whole family embrace you as a valued guest is exceptional to say the least. The bedroom is amazing and the views are stunning, and the breakfast, well... More
