Just left the Old Hall Inn after spending the weekend there, we had a cottage next to the Inn and it was lovely, warm, clean bed and pillows were so comfy, nicely decorated. The only small issue was the shower, it was too hot or too cold so washing hair was a bit of a problem but other than that... More

Just left the Old Hall Inn after spending 3 nights in the cottage. We chose the cottage as we brought our dog with us, and wanted room for us all to chill and relax, and not worry about dog disturbing other guests. The cottage was perfect for us, clean, nicely furnished and plenty of space. The wood burner made it... More

My family and I stayed at the Old Hall Inn last week-end as a base for some walking in the beautiful Dales. We occupied all three rooms in the Cottage attached to the hotel and were very pleased with the accommodation overall. The beds were SO comfortable and the rooms were clean and nicely appointed. A very small niggle was... More

Cosy bar & eating areas with friendly, helpful staff. Something about the menu doesn't quite work. This is neither "good pub grub" nor "fine dining". The claim of providing " The Best Food In The Dales" is way off the mark. The food is ordinary, unexciting & vastly over priced. We were very disappointed!

We stayed for three nights bed and breakfast at the Old Inn and also ate our evening meals there. We were in room 4 which was comfortable enough although we sweltered under the duvet provided and would have preferred sheets and blankets as an option. There was no heating in the en suite, which could be an issue in winter.... More

We were a group of 7 male walkers staying late October for 2 nights. 2 slept in the Inn and 5 of us were in the cottage, over 3 rooms. The service was excellent from the staff. They were friendly, helpful and welcoming, as was the landlady who was a proper hostess. She was very accommodating especially since she also... More

We were a group of 7 men staying Friday to Sunday for a walking weekend. The Inn is lovely and the staff are friendly, helpful and keen to help. The landlady was a great hostess - very accommodating, especially given she also had a large party in on the Saturday night. The rooms were very clean, nicely set out and... More

We visited on a Friday which is 'Curry night'. The food was tasty but it was ridiculously overpriced at over £12 for a small bowl of curry and a small portion of rice. We have been here many times and eaten here but the owners have increased the food prices so much it makes you feel 'ripped off'. The usually... More

We stayed last weekend. Our meal the first night was very good, well presented and delicious. Lots of cobwebs and dust visible in the restaurant area tho'. It was on the pricey side for pub food tho', we though this was just the Dales location but it is not as we found out when we ate elsewhere the following night.... More
