We had booked in advance and when the 8 of us arrived it did not seem too promising, but they had saved us a table in a room where we had a very good evening with our friends. A bit above average pub food with good service.

We booked as we walked through the door of this lovely Dales pub, just what we were looking for! The beer was well kept and local, the barmaid was friendly and helpful and the room was absolutely fine. After a brief hauling in of bags, we settled in the bar for the afternoon! Lots of friendly chat with other customers... More

My wife and I called in for lunch on Tuesday 22-07-2014 driving north there is an advance sign but the Old Hall Inn is on a bend be careful, there is ample parking to the front of the building. The impression on entering is typical old village pub but that is where the typical ends. Our greeting was most friendly... More

We have just spent our second stay at the Old Hall Inn and once again have had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The staff are attentive and polite, the food and ales served are very good indeed, the accommodation is all one could ask for and the surrounding area is amazing. We definitely intend to make a third visit in the... More

The Old Hall is set in a beautiful village in North Yorkshire and has free parking out front. Ive eaten here several times and the food is always good although a little pricey. lovely place which always has several diners in.

We have just had a wonderful four day stay at the Old Hall Inn in Threshfield near Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. We stayed in the Stable accommodation at the Inn which was very comfortable, quiet, and just a very short stroll to the restaurant / bar area. The food was to die for with the scallops and pork with... More

I've eaten here a few times in the past and have always had excellent meals and drinks. So recently me and my partner decided we'd stay here for the weekend. And the accommodation was as good as the food. We stayed in the four poster room which was immaculately decorated and had everything you could want, TV, Tea and coffee... More

My wife and I ate here on a quiet Monday evening. I ordered fish and chips and when it arrived was nicely presented – the fish on faux newspaper, and the chips in a small metal basket. The fish was lovely, but the batter was extremely greasy and left a pool of fat on the paper. My wife’s meal came... More

We also watched what apparently was a re-run of Four in a Bed and were pretty impressed by the overall look of The Old Hall and glowing reports of the place. As my birthday was coming up my husband suggested we stay for the weekend so it was duly booked. Oh dear! First impressions were of an old building with... More

We called in for dinner on a Sunday night and I must say it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time, beautifully cooked ,presented and tasty. The Old Inn chef would give top hotels a run for their money, they also have a good range of wines plus the staff were very efficient and... More
