Apart from a small error on the bill which was sorted without fuss everything was great. Everything else from start to finish was spot on......afternoon tea in the conservatory overlooking Burnsall Bridge and the Wharfe valley, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast on a sunny morning - perfect. The Grassington room was great too, lovely décor and furniture with a... More

Our overnight stay was given to us as a present. The view from the room was fantastic, and hard to beat. The Yorkshire Dales are always wonderful, and to wake up to a frosty sunny morning looking over the river and Burnsall is hard to beat. Our stay was b&b. I am not sure if the hotel has a lift,... Booked in for 1 night with my fiancé on a Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed everything! The food, service and views were amazing. The room was clean and was decorated to a high standard (the welcome tray was a nice touch too). The spa was a very short drive away, we found it excellent and very relaxing. Staff were helpful and friendly.... More

This was our first visit to The Fell and we were not disappointed! The setting is just gorgeous; so relaxing! Our room was delightful, we loved the decor and could have spent the entire time 'chilling' but wanted to enjoy the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. A beautiful boutique hotel that we highly recommend. Thank you!

We were treated to a weekend break at the Devonshire Fell as a surprise present, so it's hard to have to complain, but this potentially fabulous hotel is being let down by lovely but poorly trained, overworked, unsupported staff. The chef is obviously very talented, the food throughout our stay was gorgeous. The location is amazing. The decor is a... More

Dear andyl232 Thank you for your feedback - it is greatly appreciated. Please accept my apologies for your experience, it was very far from our usual high standard. I will investigate what happened to ensure that this doesn't happen again. With kind regards David Cook General Manager More

The January saver price of £81 for one night was too good to miss! Location fantastic and fab views from more expensive rooms! Room average! But lovely and warm! Breakfast lovely! And use of Devonshire spa at Bolton Abbey brilliant! Would not go back at full price! Not enough luxury in the room!

We had the pleasure of staying over for a day/evening for our friends wedding. Perfect for a intimate gathering but I am sure they could cater just as well for a larger group. Our bedroom was clean and very tastefully decorated, posh olde worldie but with a flash modern comfortable bathroom, with great water pressure. I loved the complimentary toiletries,... More

Stayed late January on an afternoon tea/dinner/bed & breakfast offer. The location is superb with fabulous views from the front conservatory and Feel View room (it had just snowed). Rooms are spacious with modern, boutique style décor and the lounge area is small but similarly decorated. The food was good, especially enjoyed afternoon tea after a long walk, and service... More

Visited many many times, returned after 8 months where has the atmosphere, friendliness and the French guy gone, its bland with a sandwich lunch option, bedrooms that look over the back car park, one may presume these were old staff quarters!! fabulous location but now severely lacking, time to book elsewhere.
