4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My and my partner attended a wedding here at the weekend, we were very impressed and think that the wedding couple picked a really nice venue, the whole layout and the gardens were really impressive, especially when the sun came out! The food was equally as good, some other guests had complaints but to me it was really nice quality!... More

My husband and I have stayed here twice now and both times have been lovely. We stayed in Bellbusk - a suite, beautiful views, fantastic large room in every way. The second time we stayed in Linton - another lovely room with view to the side of the hotel overlooking the hills. The beds are large and incredibly comfortable, the... More

What can we say? This was our second visit to The Devonshire Fell. After a hiccup on our first stay the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND all expectations to ensure our second visit was perfect. On both stays our rooms (first a top floor village view room and second the suite) were beautifully put together, spotlessly clean with exceptional views.... More

We stayed one night with a group of friends, so also had dinner and breakfast there. Fabulous location overlooking the river valley. The decor is, to put it politely, eclectic and, unfortunately, not really to our taste. Our room was at the back overlooking the carpark and the dustbin compound so we were quite glad that we didn't have to... More

Just one night away for us, (and peculiarly, a Sunday) and as we live less than 10 miles away, a rare treat to wake up in our favourite place, Wharfedale. The setting of The Fell, overlooking the exquisite little village of Burnsall, is quite perfect. Especially at this time of year (April), when the leaves are not yet on the... More

Went for afternoon tea with high expectations but we're disappointed. Tea was served in the dining room overlooking the river - lovely views. The food was ok nothing special, very small sandwiches served on bought sliced bread and a good selection of cakes all rich and sickly. The meal was not balanced, too much sugar. The experience at best was... More

A last minute decision to have a mid week night away. The booking process was some what problematic, frustrating and time consuming, and I ended up booking online which took seconds rather than long telephone calls that had proceeded. The room (11) on the top floor was clean and comfortable, with a views on to Burnsall Fell and a little... More

I'd really like to rate this as 3.5 Good - better than average but not a full 4, however, we stayed for one night as part of a 3 course DBB voucher deal with bubbly and upgraded to a river view room, the Cracoe (room 4). On arrival the car park is on two levels – if you have any... More
