We stayed at Brickfields farm over my birthday and New Year's eve. It is a truly lovely place to stay; beautiful rooms, great views, delicious food and accommodating hosts. I was impressed with the attention to all the small details that made our stay special. The home-cooked breakfast each morning is a great feature; served every day in the conservatory... More

This is a lovely, peaceful B&B in north Yorkshire. The breakfast was excellent; well made with top quality ingredients. The room furnishings were gorgeous and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The guinea fowl can be a little noisy at first, but they just add to the charm of the place. We found it to be... More

Stayed here over the Easter weekend, and had a genuinely lovely time. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and extremely quiet, and the homemade breakfast served each morning in the conservatory to the main house gave us a chance not just to enjoy the scenery but to get to know the couple who own and run it. Highly recommended

Lovely welcome on arrival. Spotless room with extra little kitchen area. Everything thought of. Lovely bathroom, beds and brilliant breakfast. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. The views are stunning and it is very peaceful.

This B&B is a gem in a truly rural setting. Friendly greeting by the owner. Most rooms are in converted farm buildings, which have been finished to the highest standards, including wet-room shower. Our sunny south-facing room looked out over the sheep paddock. The proprietors have thought of everything, even down to the small jug of milk in the fridge... More

We had a wonderful visit- we even extended our visit because we enjoyed Brickfields so much. Every little detail had been considered: robes in the room, fresh milk and bottled water every day. The shower was lovely in a spotless, roomy bathroom. Breakfast was out of this world with fresh fruit and organic, free range eggs cooked to perfection. We... More

We have just spent 4 nights at Brickfields and it still wasn't long enough. Neil and Sheila have exceeded all hopes or expectations of a good place to stay while away from home. We slept on the finest linen, from France on custom made beds. Our "room" was really a suite with a sitting area and kitchen area that included... More

A few weeks ago enjoyed my second stay at Brickfields - it certainly won't be the last! All the praise piled on by other contributors is well earned and perfectly true - what more can I add? I will add photos of the breakfast - second to none - a feast indeed. Thank you so much Neil and Sheila for... More

Having read the reviews for this B&B I had great expectations, and we were not disappointed. We were in the Rose Room, which was spacious. It had a fabulous wet room type ensuite. There was also an area with a kitchen work-top, a sink, and a fridge. There was a wide tea and coffee selection, biscuits, and fresh milk and... More
