My husband and I tried the hotel and baths at Saillon in November some 7 years ago using a present voucher for 3 days with bed and half board. On the first evening we went to the baths and stayed exactly 15 minutes because the water was too cold for it to be a nice experience. We then decided to... More

We spent a great night here on the way to the Montreux jazz festival. Very nice and clean hotel linked to a very nice spa pool area (free with your stay) - discounts also for the Carpe Diem spa which was small but lovely. We had dinner at the Bains restuarant and it was very pleasant. Not sure about Saillon... More

Our children love this place. There is a lazy river, water slides, plus various pools for swimming or relaxing. Everything is clean. It's a "democratic" sort of place. Not up market or down market. Even on a busy day, it is relaxing. Restaurant is mediocre. Some points - not cheap. 85fr entrance for a family of 5 vs 19fr at... More

I stayed there just For 1 night for work. Big and comfortable room with cable tv. Wifi available in the room was positive. Clean and spaceful toilet. Calm and spaceful outside area with parking. Kind and fast staff. Breakfast is great and you can eat whatever you want! I tried also the restaurant and they have healty menus that are... More

Another great place to relax and have fun in Switzerland. There are 3 different types of pools with different temperatures and a whirlpool top place to have fun. Very good hotel every one spoke English. It is also being updated the décor is a bit out of the 80's but it was not bad we had an attic room with... More

Les bains de Saillon is a heavenly oasis in the middle of the Swiss countryside. The countryside around Saillon is lovely along the Rhone. There are several long distance bike trails and skate trails in this area which is how I came to be here. I was on a long distance skate trip and started in Sierre that morning and... More

We use the thermal pools here in both the summer and winter. it is not cheap being about £40 for a family of four but you could spend all day here. There are two main thermal pools and one unheated pool and in 2012 a "lazy river" opened which is great fun. It is clean, there are plenty of changing... More

We booked a last minute arrangement. The arrangement includes half-board, a dressing gown, towel and slippers as well as free entrance to the pools. We were given a room under the roof (which we knew beforehand). The room was nice and clean. However, the matress of the 160 cm bed was not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel... More

The thermal baths(bains du Saillon) are the main attraction, certainly not the hotel which we found a little stuffy and outdated and we do not recommend the understaffed over expensive restaurant. There are better places to eat outside. However the baths with their gardens and scenery are an experience not to be missed and it is worth staying in the hotel simply... More
