“Beautiful oasis of peace in rural Switzerland”

We couldn't get out of Lucerne quick enough - very touristy, overpriced and chaotic. The Gasthaus Paxmontana is absolutely none of these, it's an oasis of peace and tranquillity in rural Switzerland. “Lovely setting in pretty Swiss village, will definitely be back.”

We stopped here for the night on our way home and loved the charming chalet, in a pretty Swiss village. We stayed as part of an walking holiday organised by Inn Travel. The staff made an extra special effort to retrieve our luggage from the station. Welcome, service, rooms food, location all excellent.
