Fair prices, cozy room, GREAT SHOWERS! we didn't have breakfast or visit the bar. We came to get a good night sleep so we could hike trolltunga. After hiking trolltunga, we came back to the hotel to shower. Showers were so delicious. No toilet/showers IN the room, but a community one. Toilet/showers were apart from the bedrooms where you sleep.... More

Stayed here for one night while passing through Odda; good nights sleep, was obviously a hostel before becoming a hotel, two small single beds rather than a double. Bathroom was completely new and worked perfectly. Cosy breakfast. Great location with views across the water upto the mountains. Price a bit high for Norwegian standards.

How is it possible that this hotel charges nok 880 for a small room with a bathroom of camping standard. Reception was also disinterested but in this case to our advantage so that we could still cancel after the first inspection of the room and bathroom facilities. Of course everybody knows that Norway is an expensive country but at this... More

A positive thing is the breakfast - but the prices are (compared with Norwegian standard) too high for what you get. Tiny rooms that are not maintained at all. It still looks like a hostel (was until April). It seems the only thing that increased are the prices. Try to avoid the place. Also the location and surrounding is not... More

In Odda there are only 2 hotels: Vasstun and Hardanger. First is "so-so", second is even worse. I hope I won't return in this place for the second time. Service is nice. Everything other not so good. But u know, it's common problem in Norway at all.

Very good service. Excellent evening meal and breakfast was wonderful. Had a small room with bath. Shower drain allowed some water to run across the floor but nothing serious. Beautiful view from our room looking out on the mountains and water. From our experience in Norway, it was worth the money.

We needed an accomodation near Skjeggedal, the starting point of the path for Trolltunga, and we discovered this nice guesthouse in Odda. We booked a small room with shared bath at 860 Nok per night breakfast included. With an extra of almost 200 NOk (drinks not included) we had an exceptional buffet dinner in a warm ambience. Above rates are... More

The room should have been a double, but it was a 10-square-meters cubbyhole on the third floor, hot, not very clean indeed and rather stinky too. The price was exorbitant for what we had. Breakfast was decent and parking was free and these have been the only positive aspects of our stay. In my opinion, a place to be carefully... More

My goodness, it is hard to fathom how this place can cost what it does. In July we have paid over 1700 nok (ROUGHLY 200 POUNDS) for 2 rooms that have a shared / communal showers and toilets. Aka backpacker style. One room doesn't even sport a closet, let alone a t.v.... the view is nice... from the other side... More
