But scruffy but, large moron, doors opening right onto the beach, small patio area with chairs and a table. Breakfast included, nothing exciting but you get what you pay for here. So central and ideal if you want a few days beach holiday. Would stay again. Plenty of local eateries close by.

A small and nice resort with several bungalows in the middle of a rainforest and pond (Bring a moskito net, then you will have a good night's rest!). It’s directly at the Pentai Tengah beach. Unfortunately they are closing down - as most of the small hotels are in Pentai Tengah and Pentai Cenang - due to land owning difficulties.... More

On arrival we were informed that the two chalets we had booked were due to be demolished the following day. They could only provide room only as facilities for breakfast were no longer available. A very small discount was offered in view of no breakfast but the following morning we would have to move to an alternative chalet and our... More

We have a very wonderful 2 nights stay experience in here. Beautiful garden, quiet beach, great location with walking distance to surrounding restaurants around Pantai Chenang, friendly staff, breakfast with sea view...etc. If have to be picky, it will be their TV inside the room as basically lack of channels and bad signals. But overall, we like our stay in... More

I made the booking via agoda.com few months ago. While the booking was confirmed by agoda, the hotel told me no booking record was found upon last week's arrival. When I called agoda.com at the hotel, the staff still claimed my booking was confirmed. Too bad ! Luckily, the hotel staff were very helpful. They immediately helped me to find... More

Arrived to be told that demolition was due to start the next day. Actually the best thing for it. This was known by staff, but they did not have courtesy to inform us before arrival, we had booked 8 months ago. The place was shabby and demolition work on adjacent site already in progress. The alternates offered were equally poor.... More

Before booking this place, we looked up on the reviews of the place and booked it with minimal expectation. We mainly booked this place because it was one of the more unique looking properties along Pantai Chenang which exuded a very Balinese feel. I would say that the rooms were very average, bathroom was roomy enough for 2, cleanliness was... More

If your looking for spotless Egyptian cotton towels, 200 channels of cable TV or trendy modernist design then this is not the place for you, BUT if you want old school villas at an idyllic beach setting, centrally located with personalised hospitality then you'll really enjoy the Sunset Beach Resort. While some might find this little village setup a throw... More

I stayed here in March. There were 5 of us and we booked the biggest room they had. Glad to say the room was spacious enough for all of us. There was ample of space for all of us as well as our baggage. Breakfast was simple but good enough. English breakfast with all the main things you need in... More

i booked the hotel for Nov and was very looking forward to it. However, i receive an email saying that they will be cancelling my reservation n refund me due to some investors buying their property. Therefore, no need to book this hotel anymore as it will not be available in the future.
