Eating at Bonton is one of my favourite things about visiting Langkawi the food is amazing. The restaurant is set looking on a lotus lagoon and plenty of grassy areas for kids to wonder about. The kids menu offers nourishing homemade meals (battered fish, spaghetti bolognaise, chicken satay) The main menu has a wide variety of lovely meals we were... More

We spent 10 nights at Bon Ton resort and had our best holiday ever. The traditional Malay houses are full of character, charm and comfort, and offer you exclusive privacy as you have a whole house to yourself. The staff are very down to earth, friendly and really lovely, they really made our stay most enjoyable. We had everything we... More

This resort has done wondrous job of preserving the living essence of traditional Malay culture. One footstep into the villa, brought us back to the olden days where beautiful traditional wooden houses were made out of strong quality wood. Decors of the villa really made us feel like home, villagers style. Hefty and delicious breakfast platters were delivered and placed... More

Langkawi Island, one of my most favorite travel destinations in Malaysia and it was only last year October, 2014, when I've first visited this lovely Island. And, just last two (2) weeks ago, I've came back again and glad I've found myself staying here for 3 days & 2 nights. Upon arrival from the Langkawi airport, after an hour and... More

For our cat-loving but pet-deprived daughters, this place was heaven, and we thought it was very nice too. The location - though not on a beach - was peaceful and a good base for exploring the island. An incredible amount of effort must have gone into creating this unusual and atmospheric hotel. Everything was done well, and despite the old... More

Stayed here for a much needed few days recharge. The resort was peaceful, with a beautiful open view across the marshland lagoon. We stayed in the White Frangipani villa which looked out across the garden and pool. Dinners at Nam restaurant were without fail, something I looked forward to during the stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter. The buildings are fabulous as is the entire setting. You shouldn't go if you don't like cats but apart from that it was great. The two pools were more than enough, the rooms splendid, breakfast great and the restaurant food very good. If you like birdwatching there were plenty around the grounds... More

We loved our stay here. The resort is beautiful and all the staff were fantastic; they were friendly, could provide excellent recommendations for things to do on the island and went out of their way to help us out many times. Staying in a traditional Malay wooden house was a great experience, however by nature they are very open to... More

If you want to escape from our modern day distractions and enjoy the quiet rustic Malay village charm, this resort would be a great choice for you! We love the swimming pool that is located in the centre of the resort and get to admire the natural greenery surrounding the resort. There are no satellite TV channels in the room... More

A lovely place to stay to relax and get away from it all. Being able to get up and have breakfast as it's left in your room overnight is great. I saw a few cats whilst I was there so any reviews saying there a loads of cats are an exaggeration. If you want more of a boutique experience then... More
