Went over during weekend for 2D1N with my group of friends to do a birthday surprise. Overall, from ferry terminal to check in, the service provided was very good. Our villa is located about 5 minutes walk. However, when we do the check in at Nirwana Lobby, they provide buggy rides to our villa. Before travelling, I did emailed to... More

We stayed a night at the villa. The kitchen and living room area was lovely and cozy. It is really good for a group of friends to gather and just chat all night long. Microwave oven, fridge, kettle were all available. The common toilet on level 2 smelled horrible initially when we enter, it could be due to the sewage.... More

Booked a 3 bedrooms villa for 2 nights. The villa was decently maintained though one of the toilet was faulty. Called for the staff to repair the toilet and requested for more towels at the same time, the staff arrived in 5 mins. Very prompt service. They also provide buggy service to bring us to and fro our villa and... More

We booked a weekend getaway in Nirwana resorts Banyu Biru Villas just a couple of days prior the travel and it was pretty expensive. I checked the photos of the resorts from their website and as usual they don't quite reflect the present condition of the resort. I suppose the resort and villas were built in 90's and nothing has... Okay, first things first, I actually travelled in January 2014, but I'm only writing this now because I only recently truly discovered TripAdvisor. Okay so me and my friends arrived at tanah merah ferry terminal and got onto the ferry. 50 mins later, we had arrived in Bintan. Immigration and customs were fairly okay, though the queue was long, it... More

Not as bad as some review. Cosy beds n beautiful environment. Only tat kitchen n toilet need some furbish. But overall very nice experience n expensive eatout. Like the beaches n seabreeze. Quite an expensice trip as a can of softdrink cost $4 almost everywhere I go.

The villa was booked as a venue for a family get together. Booked via NTUC website as a member, better rates but the 3 bedroom villa was definitely smaller than the other 3 bedroom villa I stayed before. Probably because it was managed by NTUC. Upon check in, we discovered one of the fan (in the dining area) was not... More

stayed at Banyu Biru Villas with a group of 5. For its price quite OK, but definitely nothing special. The Property (whole Nirwana Gardens) is extremely aged and (physically) not well maintained. Some areas/parts seem to fall apart completely. Nevertheless settled in a beautiful environment with wonderful beaches. Sadly they do not care about upgrade or even keep the standards.... More

Stayed a night with a group of friends. We had booked 2 villas and were able to check-in earlier at about 1pm. We were then brought to our villas by the buggy driven by the hotel staff. The best thing about Banyu Binru is that it caters for large families and friends who wish to stay together as a group. That's just about where good things end. I was quite disappointed as the villa turned out to be as good in standard as with a chalet. There was no air con in the living room, the TV... More
