This gite is very well appointed, very clean and spacious, with wonderful views over the Normandy country side. The location is perfect for meandering through the beautiful country lanes and the owners who live on site are very helpful.

Absolutely amazing! We used this as a middle point to visit many sites around Normandy but we easily could have stayed in and enjoyed the wonderful view from our patio. We spent most of our nights out on the patio with candles lit and looked at the stars. The house is unbelievably clean and fully stocked in the kitchen department.... More

We spent 1 week in La Bergerie in October 2013. We were 2 couples and there was ample room in the house to accommodate us all. The kitchen was very well stoked with everything we needed, the bedrooms were quite large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view from the house is spectacular and there is a lovely private... More

We spent two weeks at La Bergerie in May 2013 and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay to explore the area. The house has been beautifully restored combining traditional and modern .. we loved this rustic French meets Ikea feel. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard and is absolutely spotlessly clean. Manon and Xavier,... More

We stayed in La Grange in August 2012 for a two week family holiday. It's a truly fabulous gite in a great location. It's all on one level (with a few steps) which is ideal for small children. The gite is equipped to a high standard and is very comfortable indeed. The furnishings and decor are modern, but combine really... More

My family of four spent a lovely near two weeks in August in Le Bergerie at Le Nid de Merle, Having stayed in other French properties where cleanliness has been an issue, we were delighted with the standard of the accomodation and this made the stay all that better. The owners Manon and Xavier were very welcoming upon our arrival... More

We spent a delightful week in June at the gite La Grange. In a beautiful rural location, the place offers a quiet and relaxing setting from which to tour the famous attractions of Normandy. The recent restoration maintains all the charm of the original building but adds comfortable furniture, modern bath and a wonderful, beautifully equipped kitchen. The place is... More
